My goodness, those eyes. I could lose myself completely in those eyes. I met Andrew in Easons in Dublin when he was promoting his book, WHAM! George and Me. I've met quite a few celebs over the years, one or two of them I've met 4 or 5 times, so, I thought, "I've got this! I can handle meeting Andrew Ridgeley. Not a bother." (He's my guitar idol and I did favour Andrew over George. I loved George Micheal, but, Andrew won my heart.) Anyway, I queued up met Andrew Ridgeley and I immediately turned into a star-struck love-struck teenager, (I'm 48). I blabbed about how gorgeous he still was and how I spent every moment watching his left on the fretboard jotting down the chords to every WHAM! song and practicing the chords and his dance moves in my bedroom. He is a complete gentleman. He has this very calming, relaxing and very down to earth aura about him. If you haven't gotten the book, buy it. It's excellent!

@@TheGreenhillsCyclist you said my words.... exactly...but I did not get to ever meet him... now in this pandemic it is my only life regret...and I too have met many a super hottie celebrity...even been chest too chest wet with Kelly Slater on a surfboard ..I kid you not..but I have a life size Andrew cardboard cutout and it makes my heart palpatate...he is my muse! I play guitar too and his photos playing guitar have been on my wall next to Clapton, Bowie and Sting😁! Your cool! Stay Alive and pray I get to be as lucky as you!

I had a crush on Andrew in my teens when Wham! came about through their popularity and great success. I always found him more attractive than George, but it's probably because when I was a teen and in my twenties, dark-haired men were my type/interest. :)

Well this is my favorite interview and set, I spent years in Hawaii at a popular Celebrity surf spot and I always hoped Andrew would show up, but sadly he didn't 😏🌴...but his book takes me to Club Paradise behind the scenes all that and then some...it is so juicy...just as I expected. So good to finally have Andy be heard on his terms...if I were him I would have probably knocked out some previous interviewers ...now the world knows how he shared , guides to be healthy, be wealthy, be wise, and care fore others....I mean give him a NOBEL PRIZE.👍. P.s. I got talked into a few crazy athletic challenges too love that there is another common ground.😘

its so funny how different people see a place. Having moved west we went to look at Cornwall . This is what we found . A few places take your breath away, usually coastal , but when there your never alone . Any where worth going to is PACKED . Internal Cornwall is bleak and tatty. But then I guess horses for courses. For those that love iit, Im pleased for them but for me , Cornwall was some where I was glad to leave.

Nice guys have left us really great music, I listen it now as gladly as then. Really a music with a heart and soul. There are no more such bands with personality and a character, sadly. corrine, forgive me for asking but what has Andrew done against George?
@ceedahdeedah0015 жыл бұрын
Okay, so you do realize that Andrew was the visionary for the Wham! concept, right? He created their image. George was a very talented, but just as Shy young man, and Andrew gave George his nerve to perform, George and Andrew were great friends who became apart of a very successful pop group, which allowed George to launch his solo career. Now, George could have been a successful Solo artist all along, considering his talent, but would he have had the Nerve or Confidence to do it... George even admitted that he missed hanging out with Andrew while touring when he went solo, because he didn't connect with anyone, like he did with Andrew, so he wasn't having any fun...Be clear, Wham! was Andrew and George, and it was only fair that Andrew receive the Royalties for Careless Whisper, because he helped write it and he was apart of the group, when the song was released for success. I don't know what attitude you are complaining about, so 'you wanna be starting something'...Get over it and leave Andrew alone.

Corrine Noah Andrew has done nothing but respect George all them ugly split rumors were tabloids waiting for the when they mutually split as they always planned he has said nothing since George died except one thing expressing his grief you have him confused with Andros Kenny and possibly Fadi
