Andrew Yang will go down in history as either the greatest President of this century or the GREATEST opportunity that America Missed!

He is literally what everyone has been moaning to have as a president and he gets such little recognition compared to what he deserves. I’m voting for him and millions of others should follow along

On 12/24/2019, I distributed 16 meals to the homeless people yesterday with flyers telling them about Andrew Yang. I gave them extra flyers to distribute them. Most of these people have the right to vote but they know nothing about Yang because they are lack of resources. The UBI policy is the only policy right now that can eliminate homelessness. I want to say on record that a government that fails to eliminate homelessness cannot claim the country to be great. I believe every thing help. I like to encourage everyone who cares about humanity to enroll the homeless people to help with Yang’s campaign.

It's clear that Andrew Yang is the best candidate suitable to be the next president. He's a problem solver not a political demagogue.

Even without $1000/month, Yang has more substantive policies unique to him alone that make him the most attractive candidate to face the problems of today and tomorrow. I can't imagine favoring anyone else while he's in the running.

This man exudes intelligence, positivity and hope. Have watched so many of his speeches and so far, no spin and feeling that he respects everyone genuinely. He is just great.

I am proud and humbled to be the Iowa Freedom Dividend recipient. I look forward to the day when everyone can feel that little extra stress relief, and I assure you all, Andrew is an amazing person face to face. His visit with us was super informal, he just sat with us and talked and explained his policies. Through my work and my bands, I have meet some of my favorite 'rock stars' over the years and it has never been a big deal to me. Seeing Andrew at my door, I was a little star struck. Here's a man that could change the world at my sad little broken down door. He was in no hurry, even though he had an event coming up soon. We joked, laughed, and the way he reached out and touched my mom's shoulder while telling her she has done so well fighting and beating cancer was an amazing thing to see and his praise for me being around and taking care of her through the whole battle every single day for three years now was an incredible feeling. Many out there fighting like we are. Many out there deserve and/or need this more than we do. This little extra bit of cash will allow my mom to be more independent from me which will in turn allow me to begin rebuilding my businesses to where it once was and acquiring some of the equipment I have sold over the years to make ends meet. Mom just got the all clear from cancer again yesterday. Doctor doesn't expect it to come back. So between that news, and Andrew's help for the next 12 months we are feeling pretty damn good about things for the first time in a few years. Thank you, Andrew. Slay at the debates!

I’m from Michigan. My parents are hardcore working class minimum wage family. And so many factories been closing down. And work had slowed down so much. My dad got hired in a good factory line job, but the work has slowed down sooo much, he made half of the expected amount for months. My mom had a open heart surgery so she was told not to do my labor at all atleast 6 months. And we racked up like 3-4K debt and my mom started working again but we always have at least 2-3 k on our back slowing us down. We can’t grow out of this situation. We don’t get any gov assistance bec my dads wage “SHOULD” be enough for us but those six months of slow work put us so behind we have a broken down fridge, few hundred on credit cards electric n internet. Although my dad goes thru one but another one just shows up. This 1000$ would literally change our lives, absolutely. My mom is a Muslim women who fought thru my close family to work n be independent so work and life is in our blood. We don’t want to become lazy but just some help to finally stand up n do what we want without something always slowing us down.

*HERE'S THE ANSWER TO "WILL UBI CAUSE INFLATION?"* The US printed $4 Trillion for banks during the bailout (recession of 2008) and there was no inflation in consumer goods. Even though traditional economics says printing money causes inflation, this is funded by a tax which adds no new money into circulation. • In your own life a lot of stuff is getting cheaper and better. (EX: Electronics, Clothing, Cars, Media, Food (for the most part)). • It takes just one company/restaurant to not raise prices once UBI quicks in, and people will continue to consume where its still affordable. • Things actually driving up in price: Housing, Education and Health Care. Those 3 things are not driven by the fact that we have more money to spend. Health Care: Price has gone up b/c of the private insurance investment, opaque pricing and lack of negotiating the price. Education: College price has gone up 250% but has not gotten 2.5x better. Students and families feel like they have no choice but to pay for it, since getting a degree will give you higher employment opportunity. And a lot of the student loans were generated immorally to bank off students. Housing: People feel like they have to live in certain areas to access certain economic opportunities. Reason why housing has gone up in NYC & SF is due to: Local Gov. & Zoning ordinance not allowing for affordable housing.

Yang is so refreshing as a candidate. Would love to have a data driven, economically minded, business-experienced pragmatic visionary that doesn’t spew divisive rhetoric in the White House. The first Democrat I’ve ever been excited for and the first candidate I’ve ever financially supported. UBI properly implemented is one of the most effective, efficient, simple, fair, and cheapest ways to accomplish many of the progressive economic/inequality goals that truly benefit everyone.

He's the only candidate that understands the current economy. The GDP of the U.S. has grown by 50% over the last 20 years. We generate 50% more wealth than we did 20 years ago. Businesses are having record profits. Despite all this, the average income of Americans has stayed the same over those same 20 years. This is not because of immigrants nor foreign labor. This is because of automation. Every year, our economy automates away more and more jobs. Our manufacturing sector is nearly completely automated. Millions of jobs have already been replaced there. Self-driving trucks are gonna replace four million truck drivers in the coming decade. Twenty-nine million retail jobs will be replaced soon after. The list goes on. Even doctors and lawyers aren't safe from automation in the future. There will be no new industries to replace those jobs like in past industrial revolutions. We will have an abundance of wealth, but no need for labor. Our economy is fine and will continue to grow. The people are not fine because they are no longer needed to produce our nation's wealth. It's time to make automation work for the people instead of compete against them. It's time to tax automated goods and services and to give that revenue to the people. Taxing automation will allow us to abolish income tax on citizens. You keep what you earn and receive free income from automation.

Yang is the smartest guy in the race. He is the only candidate who is talking about the impending loss of jobs to automation.

I have never voted in a presidential election, did not know what the primary elections were, I have never even thought about donating to an election campaign and have never been excited about a presidential candidate. All that has changed since seeing Yang on JRE and Shapiro, then watching him give interviews with Fox News and various other mostly online platforms. He is smart, well spoken, uses numbers and statistics instead of playing on peoples fears and biases. He is not a 'Get elected at all costs politician' and not a 'Sleazy make money at all costs business man'. His policies are well thought out based on statistics, projections based on facts, and are geared toward not just the next four years, but the next 40. If you are a reasonable person, you should support this man at yang2020 and then at the Primary or Caucus Elections. Look those up for your state on how, when, and where to vote. Donated to Yang after reading his book "The War on Normal People", I think there is a free audiobook version on KZfaq somewhere. He is a once in a generation candidate. First politician I ever donated to.

UBI can be used to replace welfare, Section 8, or whatever. That means less bureaucrats to pay. That means a leaner government which helps pay for UBI too. And if people are making normal market decisions with their money, they'll tend to use it more efficiently. And no one is going to be living comfortably on $1000 a month. There is still lots of incentive to work. And for those that say, "people will just spend it on drugs!", well you're already paying for those people every time they steal your car or break into your house. You pay for them every time they get locked up or end up in the ER. At least with UBI you'll get the homeless and pan handlers off the street.

what a breath of fresh air! This man does not care for the vague feelgood rambling you get from other candidates. The other candidates tell you absolutely nothing 99% of the time. In contrast this guy is almost completely focused on clear talking points. 1 minute of yang tells you 10 times more than 15 minutes of harris. Can you imagine how great it would be if all candidates were like that?? holy shit! people would actually have something to vote for!

Finally a politician looking out for people like me. Why would anyone choose welfare over UBI? Welfare is designed to keep you poor. You can take your UBI, invest it in going to college or starting a business and then you can become rich + you still keep your UBI. This is getting the incentives right and building a real trickle up economy.

I was team Warren for a while...until I heard about this UBI. I am down with a UBI...because as a railroad worker....$1000 a month would completely change my Family's life for the better. Taxing the companies that make like 25 million dollars a day....when ...it would take me 200 years to make 10 million dollars on my salary at the railroad.......hell ya im down for a UBI.

$4 Trillion per year is 20% of the current US GDP. I don't think anybody has done the mathematics if they think 10% VAT not applied evenly across every business in the country is going to pay for that and not lead to a serious inflation issue. For this to be viable you would have to charge every single business in the US 20% tax on their GROSS margins to cover the cost for the Government. Whilst it sounds amazing and great for people you have to look at the numbers and separate idealist politics from reality. No country in the World can afford to pay their citizens $1000 a month for doing nothing in return for it, but it sure might get you elected.

Going to school and working, I make 12k a year. That’s only enough to pay bills and eat. If everybody else received 12k annually it would literally change our lives. People should only qualify for the 12k if they can prove they are working or currently taking care of somebody.
