what is coffe and cream...? is paper hot or cold pressed

I think coffee would be the consistency of the paint. Sometimes when it's thicker (more pigment) it's referred to as 'cream.' and when weaker it's called "milk" It's likely what he means.

Debra Sullivan I was wondering the same thing. I guessed coffee was main color and cream was accents colors. I’ve not heard those terms in watercolor before. I’ll try to research it
