Probably should have gone for satay or similar for dinner - or just join the longest queue when you're not sure which stall to order from, that seems to work well for most people in Singapore. Interesting video either way - hope you enjoy your stay in Singapore. :)

Tourists like to visit Newton Food centre. As a local, Newton Food Centre has long had a reputation for being a tourist trap. There are many cheap and delicious offerings in many Hawker centres spread across Singapore
I've been following your channel for a while. Welcome to my country! I'm sorry that things are really expensive in Singapore, but it is good that you've been eating at Newton! Food at Newton is nice and not too expensive (somewhat upper average price).

No durian!
Hello! Came across your video randomly. Since you are in Paya Lebar, nearer is to go Bedok Fengshan 85 Market Hawker Centre for cheaper food. $4 for iced tea is kinda expensive, even for a Singaporean... Sometimes a neighbourhood coffee-shop also can have cheap and nice food! Enjoy your stay here!
Hello, I saw your video and while I love the way you presented my country, I need to inform you that the places that you stayed, visited and dined in are all tourist attractions and so the prices are so high. Please come to Singapore again and look for me, I can recommend you and take you places that are half the price. For example, hotels at Chinatown are less than ¥10,000 per night and food at Maxwell Hawker are around ¥500 to ¥600 only!
