Just got my S6 after the guy in the shop advised me to go with it, rather than the Edge. Unlike other employees, the guy was more interested in my satisfaction with the product than getting more money. He told me that there's a problem with the curved screen that makes text messages hard to read. He even brought out an Edge to show me. Glad I went with the S6.

Rosie Rose I'm kinda with you on the edges getting annoying (especially when watching videos and accidentally skipping forward/ back). My fiance has the regular s6 and it honestly seems a lot slower, and strangely the speakers are quieter. Could be a bad batch, but they came from the same shop at the same time. Given the choice, I'd take my old s5 over either

Harry Williams But still, that stretched screen remains. A good dismay for those who are using Samsung VR. Oh well, might as well use pinc Vr. As an alternative.

Yes easily. The iPhone feels rather brittle and jagged, whereas the curves make holding this feel a lot more nice and natural!

Do you know how to transfer iTunes purchases?? I have a lot of movies and songs I want to tranfer

You can just drag and drop from iTunes into your phones storage after you plug it into your computer, I use a program called android file transfer because I have a mac and it won't recognize an android phone. But as far as movies i'm not sure how because when I try to transfer a movie it tells me unable to transfer files larger than 4 gb.

There is a Chinese rip off S6 and it is called Goophone Galaxy S6 and is 4x times cheaper, but also 100x slower and weaker lol

I think the Nexus 6 can keep up with the S6 edge especially with the screen off notifications. I don't have to touch my screen on the N6. I just pick it up or sort of take a glance at. Thanks to Motorola's function from the moto x

I have the S6 Edge 64GB but I only got it as I paid $440 CAD (bonus for it being unlocked) so why not but I held on the normal S6 vs the Edge and it was more nicer then the Edge with the frame digging in my hands but I got a case for it and it works fine for me now. Great phone with a nice look.

I'd prefer the regular S6 to be honest. The edge thing is nice, and a cool concept. But there will be times when it would frustrate me, and cause little problems here and there. And since I'm going to be spending 2 years with it, it's not worth it to me. Great review though :)

llamaman True, but I just don't run my phone without a case. Hence, non issue. However I dont understand why they dont make the sides rough so they easier to grip, it's probably easy enough to add and shouldn't take away from the aesthetics much, possibly even adding.

The Glare on the Edge kills it for me if there was no awful glare on the sides I'd buy one. For now I'm keeping my S5 till the Note 5 is out!

Till today the Xperia Z Ultra is the best most beautiful unique phone, it always grabs peoples attention whenever I take it somewhere, the Only down side to the Xperia Z Ultra is the battery life sucks. In fact I this phone so much I got a Note 4 and returned it right away due to Samsung awful cluttery UI and picked up another Z Ultra.

Android Authority People edge messaging is fully compatible with google hangouts as long as you simply set your default text messages to Google Hangouts... If you used google hangouts as your default text messaging you would know that it doesn't require the stock messaging app.

Another clip which praise the S6 too much . I have mate 7 and note4 and iPhone while my wife updated to S6 and I don't see anything special in S6 apart from being good phone I in fact very tempted to buy the HTC m9 as every time I go shops I admire the look of it and it feel great in hands . I am glad you mentioned any point and shoot camera is better becouse I think camera in phones should not be deciding factor . I like the way you play with facts to justify removal of sd card and you don't really talk about battery I wonder if Samsung look after you .

Had the gs6 edge for 20 days now the glass sucks i dropped it accidentally at a low hight and the front corner got smashed.There is also a purple light across the screen.anybody else has this issue

my dad has a s6 and a s6 ede and I pike both. But the s6 is the gold edition and s6 edge is green and the s6 edge more scratches compared to the s6. Which one should I chose? comment so I could decide.

Depends on what color you prefer. But if the s6 edge has more scratches, I'd probably go with the s6.

if you guys are realy exited about the fingerprint sensor you need to know this: the home button skratches realy easily and the home botton is flimzy and the phone gets extremely hot

You must have a faulty one, I recommend a replacement while your warranty is still valid. The phone is made of Gorilla Glass 4, the strongest phone glass available. The home button is not flimsy, mine is solid and clicks, and feels satisfying to press. Unless you have the Edge, as I have the regular S6.

I've got a s6 edge but I don't really care about the edge of just found a good deal on the 128gb model on ebay. Seriously if you have to spend a bit extra and the choice is between a s6 edge or a higher memory normal model then spend the extra on memory because you are stuck with it until you upgrade.
