Straight up, guys, this show has been a vehicle for so many inspiring and real, heartfelt stories from some of the best people ever. THANK YOU for doing this, don't ever stop. Andy Howell has been one of my favorite artists since I was 14 years old. It is incredible to get this kind of insight and such great stories from him. You've created such a rad environment for these interviews too.

I grew up in Atlanta. I met Andy at a B.C. Surf and Sport, demo in the 80's. I can't even say when, but I was a grom. Just a little little kid in full pads, at a jump ramp demo. I remember begging my father to take my helmet and pads off. So later in the 90's, New Deal was huge. Maybe skating " A&P future Store", with Andy. Maybe a session at Street Waves in Lithonia/ Stone Mountain? Andy is how I figured out skating downtown was rad... Bell South, and Later on Jamie Thomas... Anyways. Dallas Austin created Atlanta. Dallas did so many projects.

Same. As big as the 80s were, New Deal took it in a whole new direction. I appreciated it because we were street skaters on the east coast and had mad hip-hop influence. This made more sense to me.

Oh wow man. When he starts talking about hip hop it’s like he’s explaining what happened a few years before I got into the scene as a beatmaker and dj. Lil John was mostly spinning reggae and a little bit of house music. I was always trying to make to Apache Cafe for the Drez the beatnik stuff as well as the bboy and house nights at MLK. Atlanta was the shit back then. Little 5 points was the spot if you wanted to meet graf artists, skaters, punks or rave kids.

Glad y'all got him on. He was a game changer for us in the old days. New Deal was so much more relatable to us in DC area. We didn't have a ton of ramps to skate, and we were all steeped in hip-hop. Really grateful for all New Deal brought. Get Douglas and Sarge on!!! Douglas has MAD time in the industry and is a really good soul.

I skated my first and only Pro contest without a board sponsor too (I was turned pro and entered into the contest by my board sponsor that went out of business before the contest happened - I skated in it anyway), and funny thing is, Andy Howell skated in the same contest.

I was friends with Chris Hall and Pepe Martinez for a few years before Underworld Element started. It was such a sick time for me to see all the cool shit Andy Howell was doing for them. I remember when they both got their Skypagers. It was like some millionaire type shit. And then a couple years later my friend Andy Stone got on Element along with Reese Forbes and Carlos Kenner, and Element was great to them as well. That period from 1991 to 1994 was so awesome to be a skater in the DC area. And through the Element connection, I got to meet Jeff Pang and Harold Hunter who were both great skaters, and Lil' Stevie Williams who stayed in DC alot in that time. Lil' Stevie stayed in DC for months straight.
