Mount left and turned into a turncoat. Calling Utd home, tapping the badge, rejected contracts etc. Enzo showed more passion for the badge in those minutes than mount did in his final season. And by the way, what an upgrade from mount to Palmer. Twice the player and more 💙⚽️

It must be pretty great to earn double money on top of what you'd normally get just for being from the country you're working in. I dont think the FA ever thought about this situation when they thought up the homegrown players rule. McTominay for example is a Championship level player. But if he ever leaves Man Utd there will be many premier league clubs interested.

Its public knowledge he earns between 250-300k based on performances, to say he or nobody knows why he left from his 50-80k a week at chelsea and we have been given snippets that chelsea were offering 'multiple' contracts to mount since November last year. This guy is blinded by the success of Porto, thanks for the trophy mount but the manner in the way he left with that pathetic pre-recorded announcement video of him leaving from a hotem ub Manchester, RLC was more heartfelt. Then 5mins posts himself in a man utd shirt calling the training ground/old Trafford "home". It really isnt difficult to find why a lot of fans would be upset.

I remember Ashley “Cashley” Cole getting booed whenever we played Arsenal. He went on to great success and incredible career at Chelsea. Villains and the fan response is what makes these games more interesting imo

I'm by no fan of the new ownership, but in defence they did offer him contracts which Mount declined, clearly didn't match Man utd wages, but if he was a loyal player he would stay especially when we were already on a downward spiral, plus he would be wearing the Armband as Reece is part-time for the moment

I too left before the end. Needed to get an 11.00 train back to Peterborough and also pissed off that Mason Mount was booed so wrong. On train at Earls Court when penalty went in. Another train stop and another goal. Madness. Most of our sefending was appalling. Probably muck it up at Sheffield United. No confidence at all

Reece James gets a 200k p/w contract whilst Mount gets offered a substantially lower wage contract once the new management step in. How can you accept that and sign a contract... However i still maintain the opinion that Tony Mount the greedy dad is to blamed for his move away from Chelsea. But i still feel the fans shouldn't have booed one of their own.

Its really a shame that Mount belongs to Cobham, i wish it was Palmer. You can see the diff in both of them. Young ages yet one think he deserves everything without giving half of his efforts and the other one carrying the whole team with actual numbers.

@@kingarmishI completely agree, but let’s look at it like this….Mount, James, Werner, Havertz and co won the Champions League at relatively young age, no one really does that, it took the old guard Terry, Lamps, Drogba etc there whole career to get that trophy. They (Mount, Havertz, James etc) thought because they won the Champions league the pinnacle trophy of club football, they all thought that’s it we deserved 200/250/300K a week. They all become Charlie big potatoes. Winning that trophy so so soon in 2021 was not really a blessing in disguise, it made the players lazy and they all thought that was it they’ve accomplished the holy grail. Small minded mentality I know, but that’s most modern day footballers of today.
