Andy's first serve percentage has been in the 40s since the racket change in all the matches with it so far. Hopefully its a short term issue while he adjusts to the new racket as his second serve has been a substantial weakness in his game.

It's sad. You can tell Murray still really loves playing tennis and has a real passion for the game but the new hip just won't allow his body to move the way it used to. That and age catching up with him. I will miss watching him. A real ambassador for the sport.

I don't think he will be able to get past two rounds. The young guns are too strong for him. He was a legend. The only oldie who can give these youngsters a fight is Novak.

Well i do not get it. Why does Murray still employ defensive counterpunching, he needs to be more aggressive. Metal hip, 36 years old and defensive style do not go hand in hand. I think that it is good that he will retire, this tennis and performances are undignified

Why do you care? Murray is a legend, and not just for what he has archieved, but for still fighting on the tour. That shows real passion and love for what he is doing.

I think you will find that his new (bigger head size) racquet will help him. I can see his shots gained pace compared with when he was using his Head Radical. It takes time to adjust his game to the new racquet and take advantage of its capability.

The results of Murray show that tennis is on small margin. No matter your brain, your tennis IQ and level, your power and will, if your body is 10% slower, you lose against no name players

From 2008 to 2017 Murray was top 10. 9 years. He has since spent 7 years barely in the top 100.Bro should have retired.

Top Ten? 2008-2016 He was year end No 4 five times, No 3 once and No 1 once. One year he ended No 6, but he was out injured for a large chunk of that year (2014).
