Actually this song is called « balance ton quoi » because in France the movement which resembles that of « me too » was called « balance ton porc » on the networks which literally means expose your pig in english

Balance ton porc directly translates to “denounce your pig” but means “denounce your aggressor.” By saying balance ton quoi, it is saying “denounce your what” which is just referring to the idea in a more subtle way

On Saturday, 18 April, I never heard of Angèle or this song, or even #balancetonporc. Then I watched her on the One World concert, and I thought she was the highlight of the whole evening, even though I couldn't make out the lyrics. It was Angèle's insouciant, playful attitude that hooked me. Since then i can't stop listening to the song. It saddens me so much that it is still necessary to send out the message to the 'pigs' out there, that young girls still have to deal with types like Harvey Weinstein or R Kelly, or just the boys in the street, who just don't seem to know any better. We all owe a debt of gratitude to people like Rose McGowan and those women who risked so much to 'balance son porc', and I want to thank Angèle for her 'beautiful poem'!
