Celtic fan here. When Ange showed up at Celtic we were unsure of what to expect but the people who knew him seemed to rate him highly so he was given a chance. He had a slightly rocky start but very quickly his brand of football won the fans over. I think Spurs fans will really enjoy watching Ange's style of play. I wish him all the best, he's a great coach and a great guy.

I have been a Spurs fan since 1978 but as a Scot Rangers are my other team. Ange was a nightmare for us when he was Celtic manager but I have never seen so many Gers fans actually find it so hard to dislike him! He has something special and boy do we need it at Spurs. I think the next few seasons will be so much better, we will see exciting football. By the 2nd season a lot of other players will be happy to sign for us. I hope Harry hangs on!

A lot of people won't know that Ange played under the great Ferenc Puskas at South Melbourne in Australia. Ange's football brain is incredible, and even as a Wolves fan I'm keen to see him do well.

He's the right stuff. Celtic fans, although disappointed and sometimes annoyed that he left for Spurs, are universal in their admiration of him. His quiet confidence is impressive. I've followed him for years and am busting to see him lift Spurs up!

Celtic fan ,its weird watching this cant lie ,was always inevitable sooner or later though Never been 1 for press conferences but dont think i missed 1 Ange conference, was pretty much sold on him after his 1st press conference everything else afterwards was a bonus. Gutted to see him go but will definitley catch up with spurs next season as am intrigued to see Angeball in the prem with EPL players ,im 100% confident he will win trophies there .

One thing is for sure the sports media will need to be at their best as Ange has an answer for every question no excuses from Ange and he will destroy any pundit if they try to run his style of football down.Ange attacks from all angles from his way of talking and his style of play Hope it works out for him as this is his biggest football test yet.

I can't believe some of the comments, stating that Ange has never been successful in a big league... What? A-League champion x 2, Won Australia an Asian cup, which is very hard to do (Japan, South Korea (Sonny included), Saudi Arabia, etc... ), then went to a bigger legue in Japan (J-League) and won a championship. Then he's off to the SPL and Celtic for 5 trohies in 2 years. Just imagine what he could do with world class players.... Spurs supporter for 60+ years first game @ WHL week before Jimmy Greaves signed. UEFA cup final 2 FA Cup Finals but now living in Melbourne. Followed Ange's career throughout. Have absolutely no doubt this is an outstanding appointment & that he's the man to give us our Spurs back on the pitch. Back to the great Bill Nick's "push & run" & with a high press. Can't wait!

I’m not a spurs supporter (50+ years ManU) but I have watched and admired Ange’s career. He will be successful. He is smart, tough, gets the best out of players, respects the game and never bags referees or the opposition. He is terrific at scouting players but all players have to meet his expectations or they will be out. He handles the media better than anyone. Talk of being sacked by Christmas is rubbish. He will do well this season but even better next season. I’d be amazed if he doesn’t win trophies in his first three years. You will end up loving him based on previous experience. Enjoy.
