all people do is complain, seriously, michelle is probably the only youtuber that still does original MAKE UP tutorials, unlike other youtubers who just show their clothes and their rooms and talk about their daily life, this is her JOB, & she loves what she does, so let her use what she WANTS, & if you cant afford her makeup, how bout having some COMMON SENSE & just use products similar to hers.. simple, keep doing you Michelle!! there are more of us who are proud, rather than complaining :)

I don't understand why some people bitch about her using her own products. It only came out in the summer, AND IT'S HER DAMN PRODUCT. OF COURSE SHE'S GOING TO TRY TO PROMOTE IT SAYING THAT IT'S GOOD. Like seriously if you guys made your own brand, wouldn't you guys promote it too? She worked pretty hard to be where she is right now. If you're going to talk shit, then stop watching her videos. IT'S SO SIMPLE.

Comments like "I can't buy em products" or "stop using your make up brand" ate absolutely ridiculous. If you had your own make up line, why would you not promote it? she made a cosmetic line where she's proud to show us what shes accomplished. Some people say her palettes are crappy. Okay, that's fine. It's your opinion; however, some people really love them as do I. As for the pricing, you need to take into consideration that she has to make a profit SOMEHOW. Yeah, i cant afford some of her products but i honestly dont care. If you dont like it, don't buy it. Simple as that. If you want, you can always buy duplicates in stores by different brands. Did Michelle say you have to use em only? No, she didn't. Even before she used em, she used products I believe some of us wouldn't be able be afford. None of you complained then. I think Michelle is doing a good job with her make up line and I'll continue to support her.

I have to say, I'm really disappointed with all the negative comments. Saying she isnt like her old self, that she is now fake. Its like that whole fiasco that happened a couple years ago where she told off a 16 year old who was completely rude to her and people hated on her for that. Things can't always remain the way they were. Of course she is going to use her own products. She needs to promote them because that's business. She should be able to use the products she worked hard to create. And she is a professional, so the videos are going to reflect that. If you people want videos with drug store brands, there are plenty of gurus who do that so go watch them.

Michelle has great taste in music I've noticed.

I feel so bad reading these old comments about her appearance and personality changing. It’s obvious. But also after watching her last video addressing why she left youtube, I can’t help but feel that not only was it the struggles of losing herself when she began to get popular, not only was it the pressures of beginning to be a business woman, but also her subscribers kinda bullying her without any context or understanding of her situation. Crazy how now there’s a 180 and people want her back but I’d rather her not come back to the overall toxicity that not only contributed to the depression she went through, but has also worsened since she’s been away.

Her tutorials are always useful, helpful, and informative, why does it matter if her voice over, video editing, and make up products change over time? The overall content is the same, which is why I keep watching, my makeup skills have improved because of her :) Thanks Michelle!

I get the fact people are annoyed at Michelle for always using her own brand for tutorials but put yourself in her shoes, if you had a chance to demonstrate and sell your products to over 5 million people in one go you would take it. Michelle has a platform and a reach that not many brands have and from a business point of view it would be silly to not take advantage of it.

So many haters out there. This is what happens when people let the media have to much power on them. People get jealous, hateful, and overly attached to public figures. If you don't like her, don't purposely go to her videos and attack her. Such a waste of time. What are you trying to prove? Whatever she does is her business. She shares what she wants to share. It is so much easier to just watch the video unbiased and get on with your life.

guys seriously, em cosmetics is amazing. I have rather large collection now. They are so well formulated and incredible quality. The waterliner and concealer are the best I have ever used. And what I really loveeeee is the fact that she uses bunnies as models! It shows that she really cares about women, she's not just saying it, she's even showing it. Rather than using stereotypical models she's using real women who have real women features. Amen.

I love, Michelle! Not only because she's the best makeup guru ever, but because she actually takes the time out of her busy life to actually talk to her fans. She tries to add her subscribers/fans in mostly everything that she does. She does giveaways once in a while, with her own money! She's a hard worker. She comes up with all of these beautiful makeup ideas, and tips just for us, her subscribers and the people watching at home. And I think we can all agree that Michelle is the sweetest gal ever! Michelle is not only a makeup guru, she is my inspiration.

Has anyone noticed that most "makeup gurus" on youtube rarely post makeup tutorials. Michelle is an exception :) After all these years majority of her videos are still makeup tutorials. Most of these beauty gurus are actually beauty vloggers.

Okay people calm down. Michelle created her makeup line to what she would want. If I had my own makeup line I would want products that I define as almost perfect, wouldn't you? She has a busy life at the moment and she might not have the time to think of better tutorials but be grateful that she has one.

I graduated highschool in 2010 and have been watching your vids since I was in 9th grade. I am in awwwe of the way you have gotten better and better and have gained so much success through hard work and dedication. I love u Michelle!! I think you're amazing!!

To anyone complaining about her using her own products: have you tried them? They're great and she designed them to be great so why wouldn't she use them sillies.

for everybody saying this isnt a soft look because blue isnt a soft color, she says soft meaning not dark and harsh, ice blue is a soft color compared to black and other dark eyeshadows. i think the baby pink lips complement the eye shadow nicely.

You don't have to use the same products as her! Find other dupes that will be cheaper if you can't afford EM. That's what I do, find dupes. So much cheaper and I find myself liking the combo so much better than the original look most if the time.

FYI, Michelle did all the footwork on making her em line come to life. Alot of people spectate things they just don't know so why even comment about it. I have met her and work along side her, and she is the same person in her videos as she is in person. Please stop commenting on things you don't know about her. She truly worked hard to put this line together and is doing a very good job at it. Post what you know and stop posting what you don't !!!

For me personally, there's nothing wrong with promoting her own makeup brand. I mean, if she's not promoting it first, who would? It's her own make up line for God sake. And as you can see, there are many beauty gurus who giving em a review, or we can say indirectly promotes em. And that is a good sign, it means Michelle promotes her products well. hey hey hey people, she's allowed to use her products on videos , she worked really hard on them -u-~ she describes and shows the color well enough that you can easily find a similar/exact shade in the products you normally buy.

And I think Michelle has changed but in the best way possible. People grow up and that part of your life can really mess up a person, but not Michelle. She's so mature now and thanks to us, she has her own makeup line! She's always using it in her videos because she's proud of it, and honestly, the way I see it, it's kind of a way to remind us that if it weren't for her fans, she wouldn't be where she is now. Of course she uses her own brand. If I made my own product line, that would be all I'd be using. She worked so hard to get to where she is now. And it's completely understandable that she's proud of what she has created. Plus, throughout her video, she never mentions that the viewers should buy her product. She just says use a grey colour, a highlighter, etc, not use this Em product. She has the right to be proud of her creation so people should stop complaining.

Let's be honest.. I getting kinda bored with the fact that the only type of makeup brand you use is your own. Seems and feels like you only make your videos to promote your own makeup. You used to use a lot of different brands before, and I felt like I learned about a new makeup product in every video, but not anymore. Always Em cosmetics. And I cant even buy it in Europe.

I feel like with any types of blue, red always compliments it. So I think you should've gone with a light/sheer red matte lipstick. I also think that palette is a fail because the lipcolor is too frosty and theres already frostyness going on in the eyes. Also the blush is too pink, it should've been more of a peachy orange.

Michelle looks very different from before...not just the chin but I've noticed her lips and nose has changed a bit too...really small changes but if you go to her very first video you'd see the difference. This isn't a shade-tossing comment by the way, I think she looks absolutely stunning.

I just love comments like 'It took her a lot of of hard work and time to make her own make up line'. Seriously, dude, grow up. Most of the work was done by L'Oreal professionals, that first, and second, her videos will be just as L'Oreal say - she's signed a bunch of contracts that won't let her do anything original that differs from the company's guidelines. That's the painful truth - if you get big, you have to obey the rules, and rules aren't made for people with originality.

Even though I don't apply makeup at all whatsoever, I still love to watch your videos! That's the mark of a true KZfaqr! Also, for the people saying that they are going to unsubscirbe, that's not really a rational thing to do. If you think she's advertising her makeup line, then ask her not to as much. The "I'm going to unsubscribe" seems a bit unnecessary. After all, how's saying that going to help you in any way? Michelle doesn't even really advertise it that much. She still uses other products and hers when she thinks they'll work well. EM is expensive because it's high quality. It's kind of like Cadillac to Honda, if you understand what I mean. It's not an everyday thing, but for those who can afford it and have a special occasion. Also, if EM is a high quality brand, and Michelle can afford it (which she can), then she'll obviously use it more when she sees fit. If it wasn't her brand, she would probably still use it because it's cost pays for the quality. But because she made the line, she gives history on it. I would like to share my story too. I think all those "haters" are just confusing "advertising," "storytelling," and "suggesting." I'm not a fangirl of Michelle's, but a supporter. I'm not trying to insult those who don't like her videos anymore either. One day, the ideas will run dry. Everyday, someone will unsubscribe and subscribe. That's your opinion, but the way it was stated was unnecessary and intentionally hurtful. By the way, sorry for the abnormally long comment. :)

She uses her own products because... Remember... How she opened a store in New York... Every station had an ipad and the costumes could try to recreate her look. If she uses another make up line. Than it would be a waste to buy the iPads for EVERY station at the stores and costumes wouldn't be able to create the same look with the same products. COMMON sense + a good memory? Love you Michelle and it's right that you are using your own products.
