Not sure if it's extreme (for sure aint effective) but for fun I filled a room in the Corinth fort with 10-15 oil vases (that was a pain to collect), then lured nearly all of the fort's soldiers into the room and lit it (and myself) on fire. It was a fun distraction :D

Sure One shot kill is great but it took the fun out of playing it. It's more fun when you have to dodge and attack a few times to win.

I agree that I enjoy the fun of dealing with mythical creatures more fairly and squarely, but if there is any build that make me one shot those damned legnedary animals for the daughters of Artemis, sign me up! Screw them

In case you were curious I am able to repeat Mythical Bosses by saving before I beat them then reloading the save so I always have them available on the map. Maybe Ubisoft will let us repeat them or bring us a version of the arena with them with the Atlantis DLC. Fingers Crossed!

The Stylets of the Sly Slayer is a named unique item that is 100% guaranteed drop from an ornate chest inside Abandoned Mine in Euboea. Should help anyone trying to get epics for this build to knock that one out easily.

I got my 1st one-shot on a mythical creature last night (Steropes). I did your trick on making a manual save beforehand so I could test it. I found out it was a hyper-critical hit using Fury of the Bloodline (as my subsequent attempts did not one-shot). My build was similar but I didn't use the engraving of 5% chance, but rather convert 50% Assassin Dmg. to All Damage.

It's not the build, it's the weapon. The scythe of olympus. Give's I think more 300% damage more, but reduced your life to 1/5 all the time. So As long you sont get it, you're fine

First :) Another great video Jordan! Good job! I should have used that build to slay all the mythical creatures before I respecced out of it lol. Oh well, I'll go back to it later and go on a mythical creature rampage haha. Also the props for this build goes to you and tetracyloide, I just followed in the footsteps of your guy's genius and threw all my extra APs at it lol. But really fun build and amazing to see those huge numbers over 100million or so. Great job again on the video!

fanged bow is permanently poison infused, hero's sword with legendary poison engraving gives the sword a permanent poison infusion, so I don't even need to use the ability and can instead put a different ability there. I have second wind (heals) shadow of Nyx (invisibility for escaping if battle becomes too difficult.) , vanish (blinds all near enemies, breaking their guards so I can attack), and rush assassination (very useful)

Dude this video was dope and greatly appreciated. Only on my first playthrough. Level 44. Been trying to figure out a way of how to build max damage with hunter ability and play type. Full range and assassin is what I'm shooting for.

If you get the Artemis set from Daphnae for killing those legendary animals, you get a 50% bonus to all hunter abilities. Add on the engravings from the various legendary hunter weapons and you can spec to get massive damage with whatever hunter abilities you want. I recommend the Ghost arrows of Artemis for stealth, since they can't be tracked. If you have archery master 2 on the skill page, you won't use up arrows for abilities, and you can just wait to regen adrenaline so you can use the abilities endlessly

Another great video jordan...This build is not for me but i was just amaze to watch you one shot mythical creatures, Your videos helped me understand the game more in terms of gear and point mastery. Now when i play instead of scraping epic gear i'm hording it for future builds you might do.....lol....Thank you for all the hard work you but in detailing and explain everything.....I do have a request for a Dagger warrior build..

It’s better to work on “Invincible Build” for New or Experience player. Equip the “Jason Armor”/ Greek Hero set. It has 30% melee resistance. And put points in that in the Mastery. Also Range Resistance and some in elemental damage resistance. You just need a 100% melee resistance total or very close to. Don’t need to go over 100% Total. If you have more points put points in Health return when attacking Damage when full health Crit Damage full health Crit chance Points in adrenaline return. With this Build you will last longer and can also put harder levels if you feel confident enough. For added bonus equip the Spear that gives you 100% Damage with 25% health cap. You will be a Tank and good firepower to carry you through. Cheers.

Sugar free Kool-aid The worst kind. if you need more info just KZfaq that Build. The “Invincible Build”. I like it. I think I died once, when I was getting hanged up and poison attacked. I also engraved “50% Assassin Damage” to my Sword. It already has 50% Weapon charge on it. On my staff I have I’m using the Atlantis staff. You get it from doing that storyline. I engraved 100% Damage w/25% cap. For Defense you will be unstoppable. But for Offense you need to put some points on Crit Chance, Damage with full health. That engrave will work on the 100% Damage with 25% cap. Good luck and have fun.

if you want to be op, but not oneshot everything, get a high poison damage/weakening build together (weapon deals only poison etc). you will still do a little bit more damage than you should, and enemys will not do any

I do have a insane build but risky Weapons: blade of yummniess with fire damage with judgement of the lion with melee attacks apply to nearby enemy’s and Artemis bow with 100% all damage but capped at 25% hp (More explanation soon)

Me too! Death by chicken! And this video is absolutely insane. I just made my best build and now I give up on life after seeing that. Like some of the set perks.....I DO NOT understand. Why would I want anything with red letters? But now I get it. What??!!!! You took down whole bar with one use of bloodline. Yup that 25% cap makes me too jittery lol. I revisit this video once my mind heals from being completely blown. You learned this from that murderous chicken!!!lol Excellent job my friend

This is a good build and all for mythical creatures, but outside of that this build would be really bad because your health is soo low due to the 100% dng but health capped to 25%, if any ranged attackers go after you, you are done for. imo the staff build from last episode was WAY better.

Very glass cannon I was able to get pretty good at dodging and using slow time and was able to complete a conquest battle with this build. But it’s a lot of work to stay alive.

Question, how does the "100% CRIT Damage while Full Health" perk work if you're using the other perk that gives you "100% damage with limited health" perk? You'd never have quote "full health" for the other perk to take effect?

the 100% damage and health capped at 25% is a confusing engraving but essentially it does still count as full health even though the bar does not look like it is. Weird I know. Just think of it as 100% damage and -75% total health :)

Full health for that engrave to work means full health bar even if it's capped to 25% health bar if the bar it's full health that engrave will add your 100% critical damage engraved.

I made an Archangel build that can do up to 3 million damage and I made an Achilles 2.0 build. The Achilles build makes you resistant to all melee damage but it has a 50 percent ranged resistance. But the Achilles build also does at least 1 million damage

You should make a pure poison build. Poisons engraves on all items (that you can put it on of course) add as much crit dmg as possible then just hit ads with a single arrow and watch their health dribble down.

watching these after completing the game xD i went with assassin build with the pilgrim legendary set for -100% adrenaline use for nyx ability. making me stay invisible and make gameplay fun. only use to switch to warrior build when i had to fight. one shot might make the entire game boring and only makes you want to rush things instead of taking your time exploring things that can help you get more interesting stuff

Also I'm working on an Elite Persian Set build if you have any ideas, I'm open to them. My focus is on Crit chance and damage (obviously) but also adrenaline regen and ability cooldown.

I don't understand, why do we want a one hit kill? Im at level 301, its 2 to 3 hit, the mystical creature die on nightmare mode. Its freaking boring! Its too easy. I regret playing the story glitch which give me the tons of level up. Just play as it is and play through all the legendary armor instead of getting more stats from epic gears. Its a very long game, most people complete the game twice without even trying out all the legendary gears. The game is more fun if you try out all the legendary gear and limit yourself to the perks - Trust me, if you go beyond level 200 its going to be boring on nightmare mode.

Beautiful looking build! I don't have AC Odyssey but I've played RPGs my entire life and I question whether a build like this breaks the game by making other Armor/Weapons completely Obsolete if your just killing everything in 1-2 hits? Will it be that way for all AC Odyssey Endgame Activities ?

I haven’t played Valhalla yet so idk if they keep a similar system to odyssey but I kinda hope they’ll make combat more realistic and physics based system instead of damage points. As in, an enemy without helmet gets killed instantly by a shot to the head with an arrow. Or Atleast gets significantly weakened to the point where his fighting gets sloppy. I’m not a fan of the whole damage points stuff, a knife to the jugular should kill you no matter the level.

That’s fine the poison vanish really only helps if you are trying to beat the dps record. Just use an overpowered dagger attack and hero strike and you’ll still do insane damage and have a chance to one shot the mythicals.

Out of curiosity is there a way to farm those specific gear pieces or do we just hope for the best with randoms?

The game has a smart loot system where the gear that drops will have perks similar or like the ones you are wearing. So if you wear gear as close to this as possible eventually you will get the right drop. It didn’t take me long to make these builds I tend to keep as much epic gear as I can Incase I need it for a build.

Best thing I ever did in Odyssey: 100% melee resistance. If you have the full Greek Heroes set, you get 30% all resistances. If the belt is level 91, you get another 30% melee resistance. Add a 30% melee resistance engraving to the gauntlets, then max the melee resistance mastery points and it puts you at 105% resistance. No weapon damage. Be a god.

Wouldn't you benefit more from additional crit damage at low health since your health is reduced by 75% from the legendary attribute? Edit: yes i read the comment below and i realize the legendary engraving caps your hp at 25% but stat wise the game knows you're always at low health, therefore you wouldn't be getting all that crit damage and chance from your gear, i guess its a good reason to try the build for myself
