Hi friends and thank you for watching my French Beauty secrets series. Today we are talking about Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow makeup line. Chanel’s Les Beiges makeup line is dedicated to the summer season and the products aim to create natural and sun-kissed makeup looks. According to Chanel’s makeup atelier, CHANEL LES BEIGES line reveals the healthy glow of a day spent in the great outdoors. Just returned home from Paris and had the most incredible experience at the Chanel flagship store. I walked out with a bag of new Chanel makeup and skin care. The woman helping me was wonderful, knowledgeable and patient. The whole experience oozed class. Thank you Chanel.

Chanel’s Le Beige line is my favorite makeup line by them. They reformulated the Healthy Gel Touch Cushion foundation and the SPF is now 40/PA+++. The Sheer Glow foundation is now the Le Beige Moisturizing foundation and they released it this May here in Asia. I love the eyeshadow palettes, the Water Fresh Tint, and the Complexion Touch the most. If you like a bronze Goddess look, you would love the Deep palette. Thank you so much for your insight, Angela! Loved all the information about the products and you look so beautiful, dear Angela!!!!!!!!!!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 Love that green/brown eyeshadow palette, it's impossible to do it wrong it's blending, blending on my more hazel/khaki eyes, i love easy stuff!!!! Good that their complexion products become more natural as it seems, Angela!!! The bronze shades were to orange on me, the first 2 colours, but maybe i can dry the deepest shade, although i hope they come with more colours!!! That scent, that fragrance, i never payed attention to, as my dear mother loved Chanel, and she passed away over 2 years ago. So Chanel, it's hard sometimes because of that, but they make more nice products lately and really worth the splurge, like that eyeshadow quad nr. 68 and the blush from the same collection this spring!!! I have very sensitive skin, so not all Chanel complexion products suit me, the Sublimage foundation is wonderful in winter, and the Sublimage concealer is in my top 3 concealers of all time! But you know so much about the brand, and loved to listen and watch the whole video, all the info, thanks so much, sending you lots of love, enjoy your day, dear Angela!!!!😘😘😘😘😘😘

Thank you for mentioning the type of sunblock and how it affects the foundation touch. I was using a creamy sunblock & not waiting before applying. It looked strange. I switched it up this morning with a sheer sunblock..a noticeable difference. Thanks!

Angela, your makeup looks so beautiful and I love you in your orange top or dress. Your video is so detailed going over all of the Le Beige products. There are so many good products in this collection. I have the water fresh tints and the new ones they released for more coverage. I have the eyeshadow palette Intense and would like to add the Deep one. I do wish we were getting the rosy beige creme but it looks like only Asia has it now. I love the very large bronzer as well as the cream bronzer. I was very happy to take the mini cream bronzer on a trip. Thank you for going through all of the many products! 😊❤️

Hi Angela, You created a wonderful summer look! It could have not been more spot-on, if I have orded it! I have just used up the eye shadow palet medium, there is barely anything left. It has been a great for everyday office looks and very easy to use. Special thanks for recommendation for blue eyes😃 Looking forward for Summer already☀ week in Nice and then by train to Milano for another week. I shall take time to myself and visit Chanel store in one of there cities, since there is non close to home. Perhaps a treat for me😇

Hi Angela, Love the video. I have one question. Since this is a water base foundation..Fresh Water and Complex touch...what type of moisturizer should be used underneath? I don't like a matte look so not sure what you recommend. My moisturizers all have a form of botanical oils. You can suggest any brand if you like. Thank you.🤩😍

I have tried to purchase the Healthy Glow Cream. You are quite right and I was very disappointed to find it is only sold in the Far East and Australia. None of the department stores I found it in shop internationally. I truly hope Chanel release in Europe and the UK. I am desperate to get my hands on some

Hi Angela I’m commenting before watching your video because I wanted to say I was desperate to get that rosy beige healthy glow cream after seeing the beautiful effect it has when you applied it. I contacted my local boutique in Newport Beach and unfortunately found out it is only an Asia release. I ended up taking a risk and ordered it on Bon Bon Cosmetics which specializes in getting products that only release in Japan and then ship worldwide. Verdict is still out if this will work out for me but I was willing to take the risk because I want that product so bad 😢. I really love all the Le beige eyeshadow palettes I have especially Tendress and Intense. They are so gorgeous and the formula is wonderful. Every time I wear those people ask what is on my eyes. My favorite foundation is the water fresh tint both the concealer and foundation. And I have gone through several bottles. Thank you for highlighting this summer line which is definitely a staple for me. 💜💜💜💗💗💗

Angela, what type of primer do you suggest for a water based foundation? I love le beige water fresh tint, the cream bronzer in medium tan, the new rosy beige cream, the 9 pan les indespensibles eyeshadow palette and the 5 pan intense eyeshadow palette. The body oil is OK. The water fresh blushes are pretty but fade away too quickly. The liquid highlighter is too subtle, I feel it is a waste of money. I have never tried the foundations or powders.

I have a question - how Healthy Glow Sheer powder compares to Chanel universal compact powder in terms of finish and also in terms of shades (will it be darker then universal compact powder or universal loose powder ? I have both and although I’m B20 in foundations I have those powders in 30 and can use them year round as a powders).

Hi Irene :) Chanel's universal compact powder is very light and invisible on the skin. It doesn't add color or coverage. The pales shade is 20 translucent. This is the one that I use. They have a few more shades that are deeper. You can choose a shade deeper than your foundation and it will still work great because it's a very sheer powder. The idea of this powder is to set the makeup and to be invisible. The Loose powder again is very sheer and the colors are a bit lighter than the foundations. I use the loose powder in shade 20 and it's a perfect match for me. My foundation shade is B10. So you can go a shade deeper both with the universal compact powder and the loose powder. If you choose the loose powder in a shade deeper it will add a light veil of color to your face which helps to perfect the complexion. The healthy glow sheer powder doesn't look powdery on the face but it will add a bit of color to the face. It is not invisible like the loose powder and the compact powder. The finish of the healthy Glow sheer powder is matte like the universal compact powder. The only difference is that it adds color. xoxo

Do you wear bronzer today? My skin is as pale as yours and I don’t even know how to use bronzer. I always wear blush. Maybe you can show in a video how to use bronzer on pale skin.

Yes, just a little applied lightly with my fingers. See it in the second part of the video when I showed how I created the whole look. For pale skins bronzer should be applied lightly; otherwise it doesn't look good. That's a great idea for a video. Thank you so much! xoxo

Pink delight was part of Chanel's Delice pastel spring collection and it is limited edition. Apparently in the US it's sold out. In Europe it's still available but I'm sure it will sell out soon. I wouldn't pay $100 for it. xoxo
