I remember for a long time after mid/end credits in movies became a thing, I was still the only one that ever stayed until the very end, whenever I went to the movies. There may have been one or two movies where a half dozen people may have stuck around for the mid credit scene/s but even they never stuck around until the end.* Point is, patience can pay off. *The one exception being a movie that had no mid/end credits and pretty much the entire cinema stayed that time, lol.

When he returned to wrestling in AEW was more impactful especially considering that we just saw him wrestle Samoa Joe 2 and a half months ago.
@adamturner7498 ай бұрын
@ak96ful1 I tend to disagree on that. Mainly because honestly we all thought CM Punk and the WWE would never work together again. Yes it was always rumoured and speculated but the way they parted terms was a particularly nasty spilt.
@RuanAntunes78 ай бұрын
@@ak96ful1 WWE is the single biggest wrestling promotion on earth. His return to the company is way, way more impactful than anything he ever did in AEW.
@ak96ful18 ай бұрын
@RuanAntunes7 Every wwe fan saw his Aew return. So incorrect. That was his return to wrestling so it was a much bigger deal. This is him coming back literally 2 and a half months after wrestling Samoa Joe at All in.
@ak96ful18 ай бұрын
@adamturner749 Its a big deal for sure, however him coming to AEW was his return to wrestling which very few people thought he would do. Just check out that pop in United Center. It was louder and crazier with people crying.

Like I said in another comment there was talk/rumours about holding him off until the Rumble and obviously we all heard the rumours about him being the mystery partner before the Orton reveal but honestly? I think this was the best idea. There were people expecting the mystery partner thing and whether he re-signed or not, you'd bet when the Rumble came along there'd be people strongly suggesting that he'd be a mystery entrant. This though? Whether it was planning, luck, circumstance or anything else, even the most optimistic of us had pretty much given up hope by the end of the event and then that's where they hit us with that. It was so well done.

There was talk that the WWE thought about keeping Punk on ice until the Rumble and have him appear as a surprise entrant on that show but that they apparently scrapped that idea, because they reckoned that there's no way that they keep his signing a secret until late January. If true, I'd agree. If they'd only just signed him and they decided to hold him back until then, I'd give it to no more than the end of November, before the news breaks somehow.

Not gonna me and my little bro lost hope the moment the graphic for the Wargames Press Conference showed up but the moment CM Punk's music hit we lost it. I was in utter shock and my brother was screaming his head off

It's crazy how his AEW debut was absolute magic and his WWE return was absolute magic. It's like we're living in two different universes.

I went to the survival series war games, as soon as the men’s war game finished, my family left before traffic hit. (we sat front row) right when we got out of our seat, CM punk’s music hit and we all went straight to our seats. Heck of a night. Extra: my sister was confused who it was cause I was screaming so much and when he came out, she started screaming with me too lol.
