Alright so here’s how I made friends in like 2 days You want to walk home as much as possible with people your age in YOUR street! If the convo is awkward, relate things and if it’s terrible, try to ask questions that aren’t just a yes or no. For example, “Do you have any socials we can maybe talk on?” Or “do you play any games?” If you really wanted to, you could ask “Do you have any plans? Maybe we can hang out sometime since we live near each other.” Trust me. It works! Next, your going to try make friends in class. To be honest, this isn’t really that hard. All you have to do to start off, is talk to some people around you time to time. Not a full conversation, though. Keep it cool! Breath mints and pencils. At first, if somebody looks like they don’t have a pencil, tap them on the shoulder and ask if they need one. If you think they are a nice person deep down, then the probably are! When you have one or two full conversations, ask them if they want a breath mint or gum. Make sure you have it though. If you don’t, you will just look silly. BE 👏🏻 YOURSELF 👏🏻! THIS IS LITERALLY THE MOST IMPORTANT ONE! If your start to show your real side, they can be shocked or no prepared for your real personality. They also might be suspicious at the start and not really that interested. If you use your real self, it’s so less awkward! Don’t be dry. Just don’t. Please don’t be dry. If y’all need help, I’ll give you a head start. 1. Instead of ‘😂/lol’ use: BAHAHHA’ or ‘LMFAOOO’ or you could even do ‘PLSS-‘ 2. If you say ‘ok?…’ your toxic 🤡 3. Learn the emoji abc 🤠 4. Go download Pinterest right now girlie 5. Use “Bitch”, “Queen” Or “girlie”. Not Shit like “4LIFERR” or “PARTNER IN CRIMEE” Don’t say swear words just to be ‘cool.’ You look toxic. In tiktok, search ‘Tips for girls’ and it helps a bunch. Don’t do any of the tricks though, the could be fake. Don’t be a pick me and say old memes(e.g. AND HES NAME IS JOHN SENA)! Don’t say A.N.Y.T.H.I.N.G like “and I Ooop skskks” Know who are the toxic people in the school. Please. If your in primary school (At any grade), Bring lollies for you and your close friends. Don’t give them to anybody you don’t know because they are just using you. Don’t be rude unless they ask a lot. At first say “No, sorry. These are only for me and my friends. I haven’t given them to anybody else haha” and if they ask again say “I got these at [shop you bought them from]. You can get them at there! There’s also some at Walmart.” *Should I do this for new students?*

If you kids wanna be popular I’d suggest 1 thing: practice emotional intelligence. And the best way I’ve found to practice that is to meditate. When you meditate, your focus should be to think about nothing, and when you do that immediately random thoughts are gonna pop up in your head. Thing is, when you meditate, you disassociate from your thought. So normally when you have an angry thought, YOU are angry and you identify with the thought. During meditation, YOU are not angry, you just identify an angry thought arising from within you. But since you are detached from the thought you can observe it and perhaps even ask questions like, why did this thought arise in me? Either ways, you start to develop observation over your emotions and, as a result, will come off as cool and mature to your peers. Trust me this method has worked for 1000s of years.

I have another tip I found about how to be popular. This is mostly for people still in school but it can be applied for those outside of it too. Join clubs and sports! I joined sports to help me lose weight and to meet new people. I was new kid at my school and I wanted to make a couple friends. I joined just two sports and I made so many friends in so little time. Sports teams bond a lot since you’ll see your teammates almost everyday. I used to not even like sports but it’s great a way to stay in shape and meet new people. Also just like she said go to every single event. Go to prom and go to school games. If you want to be popular go to all the events. Also the most important tip be GENUINE! Trust me people can tell when you’re fake and you’ll just be seen as a mean popular girl/guy. Also socialize with everyone. Don’t just go for the popular kids. Like she said being smart and having good grades will make you more popular. Don’t brag about it though. Stay humble. However, high academics will make people take you seriously. Also strive to be life of conversations. Like that one friend that when they leave the conversation it’s just not the same. It will make people appreciate you. Also stay drama free. It’s okay to hear the drama but don’t get involved because it’ll make you seem untrustworthy. Oh just wanted to say that the gum hack works great too.

I can relate to this so much... I was the popular girl at first and then when I changed my school in 2nd grade I was literally getting bullied .... And pple thought that I was introverted and all that... And during quarantine when I had a major glow up pple literally started to like me even tho i didn't even talk to them often like... And I feel like it's all about the mindset that u have bout yourself.... And I can relate to this bcz I felt confident and it's more important to feel confidence and not to like only show it bcz of others to like u

Read this if you’re still in high school and you struggle with making friends/having people like you. I’m 22 now and my “friends” in school always called me annoying, were jealous or simply left me out. I just quickly want to remind you that most likely the people that are popular in high school will not be the ones that are popular in life! Most of the time it’s exactly the ones that were left out when they were younger simply because they are different. Always know your worth and in the end true friends will like you for who you are and you don’t need anyone else than those friends ♥️ But also I totally get that you want to have friends lol so try your best but keep in mind that even if you don’t have friends you’re an amazing human being and do you true friends will come ♥️

I am a freshman in high school and I came into high school only knowing 3 sophomores at my school because I was going to a different middle school than the people at my high school. I’m currently pretty unpopular and even my teachers forget to give me my work. I can’t even find groups for projects most of the time unless they are assigned to me.
