You are exactly right that this version is Angelina's song now. The members of Queen were so impressed that they let her copyright her version, so she recorded it on her Angelina Jordan, Inc label. Btw, the last judge, Heidi Klum, gave her the "Golden Buzzer" which sent her straight to the finals. It was probably cut from that video for copyright reasons.

Great reaction and informative analysis! It seems Putri Ariani arrangement of Bohemian Rhapsody was inspired by Angelina Jordan's one. AJ was first to slow down the song and to strip the instrumentation (to guitar and piano), actually she does that with many of her covers. AJ was first to sing the beginning of the verse acapella, first to voice that guitar part and to improvise at the end of the last chorus.

Great reaction and analysis! It was Angelina who rearranged the song because she's been arranging her own music since she was very little. And like you said, she always has that jazz influence you can hear in most of her music. There are some things that she is doing with her voice very few people can do. The video did not show it, but judge Heidi Klum hit the Golden Buzzer and sent Angelina straight to the Finals. Her performance went viral and even the group Queen responded on Twitter by saying, " Wow, what a rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody!" For Queen to respond to someone covering one of their songs is quite a feat since they rarely react to anyone . Not only that, but she received the copyrights for her version of this song from Queen. She did not win, but her fan base grew and expanded her popularity.

Notice her little sister crossing her fingers as the performance starts and later her mother wipe tears from her eyes. Also remember she said she had waited 10 years to sing for Simon. Angelina is a master of vibrato and melismas. She has had it in her repertoire even in her earliest performances as in her 1st performance at 7 yrs old to 'Gloomy Sunday' which was just infused with Billie Holiday's stye. I would encourage you to listen to Billie's before you react to Angelina's performance. She had even before that in her 1st studio performances at 6 yrs old. Her improvement over her 4 performances on Norway's Got Talent which took place over several months was absolutely astounding. Her voice started out a little rough, raw and childlike with 'Gloomy Sunday' and 'I'm a Fool to Want You' which she did acapella. Her next performance of 'Bang, Bang' Angelina found the voice that we will always recognize and is distinctly Angelina. The voice which she has carried throughout her journey refining and perfecting it. I consider her final performance of Summertime was her 1st Masterpiece. Simply surreal and ethereal. Her toolbox has always been vast and she's been adding to it throughout her development. Educating it was a very good way of describing it. Angelina is one of the best storytellers I have ever seen. Her timbre is completely unique to Angelia and the color that she gives every performance is again custom made for each individual story. She is a master at painting a story. She takes Iconic song, reinterprets them and often in a completely new way. She owns the song and makes it new again. At that point she owns it. Often she outshines the original. Habitually often. Personally I would love for you to do my first request which is my absolute favorite of all her performances and which will bring you up to date on how she has continued to develop.
