Miss Angelina wanted to go to NGT when age 5. But NGT accepted contestants only when at least 7 years old. Her family encouraged her to do what she loved most,and suffered for it. They even moved to the US when she was 12 yo, so she could go to the music academy in LA. I hope you gather more money for the kids, I donated already as much as I could. Elmar from Germany

Hi Tazzz, thanks for your great reactions. I also read that Angelina's mother Sara said after her "Gloomy Sunday" performance that she was filled with joy and sadness. Joy for Angelina and sadness that she would now have to share her with the world. Sara and her family have done a wonderful job of protecting her from the down side of the music industry.

Yes. I'm one of the few here that did know that. She wanted nothing to do with children's songs. There is video of Angelina about 4 yrs old participating in class singing some christmas song. The kids sounded terrible and Angelina showed her displeasure with a shake of the head and a disgusted look on her face. I think she also gave a thumbs down to the camera about the performance. So cute even when she was disgusted. Great reaction 😉♥👣

Angelina said that when she was 3 years old one night it was late near midnight and she wasn't asleep yet and her mother wasn't happy about it asking her to go to bed. Angelina took her mother's Ipad and went to bed she did some research on KZfaq ( really clever already at this young age) and discovered Bllie Holiday . Angelina was captivated by the voice of this singer and Angelina said that if not' was not the discovery of this singer Angelina that we know would not exist today . IMO the fact that Angelina already had the gift for singing at 18 months testifies that she was destined to become an exceptional singer.

Great story. It’s generally correct but you got a couple of the details a little mixed up. Angelina was indeed three years old when she discovered Billie Holiday on her mother’s iPad. Much of this exposure to the jazz greats at this early age was due to her Grandma Mery’s encouragement. What is slightly off in your story is the other part when AJ was up past midnight and started looking on KZfaq to find some music using her mother’s iPad. This occurred not when she was three, but when she was seven. She was describing to an interviewer how she came about selecting “Gloomy Sunday” for her NGT audition. It’s a very unusual song for a seven year old to sing, and even her mother Sara was wondering why she picked it. She explained that she just really liked the melody (she thought Billy Holiday was very pretty too) and her mother agreed that the song was nice but the lyrics were very sad. Great job Tazzz, I had not seen that full intro video before. Angelina's Official KZfaq channel is approaching one million subscribers. We all believe she should have a few million after 10 years on KZfaq, but far too many never consider clicking the "Subscribe" button. Yes, I have subscribed to a plethora of reaction channels that I have studied, and learned from. As for Musicians, we subscribe to all the ones we react to. I didn't know 2000 is max. Thanks for showing this. We usually see the intro starting from where she says that she’s always wanted to sing for Simon. I’ve never seen video of the intro prior to that moment but I’ve read about a lot of what she said.including the Twinkle Twinkle Little Star part. She’s said that at 3 years old she told her mom that she waited to go on “that Simon show”. At 5 she asked her mom if she could go on Norways Got Talent but the minimum age is 7.

There's a short vid from her grandma from her school. The class has to sing a Christmas song together and Angelina decided no shaking her head. The music and the choir was too bad. Later she sang alone in front of her classmates an Adele Song..Rolling in the deep ❤

Great video Tazz! I have seen this before, but you are right. Many recent Angelina fans have never seen this interview. *Additionally…* leading up to her performance, another brief interview was done by the AGT producers. This one is a bit more involved (4:35 long) and it tells, in Angelina’s own words, about her encounter with the little shoeless girl. I can guarantee… many Ångels haven’t seen this video either… particularly those that are relatively new to Angelina. I think you’ll love it too! Yes, very interesting. "I hope so" was the exact quote. Speaking of quotes, Angelina has been quoted if it wasn't for her listening to Billie Holiday there would be no Angelina as we know her today. She truly loves Billie Holiday and that's why she chose to sing 'Gloomy Sunday' for her audition on Norway's Got Talent. Because of the storyline of the song it was suggested to her that perhaps it wouldn't be appropriate for her to sing that song because of the mass suicidal actions taken by so many depressed people during war time. She told her family that certain lines should be eliminated from the song so as not to reference it's message of extreme sorrow. Angelina loved how Billie Holiday sang the song and she wanted so much to sing it and her family did make changes in the presentation of the song. Tazzz, what's so remarkable is she was already influencing the people around her what she wanted to sing (certainly not 'Twinkle Twinkle, Little Star') at 7 years old. And, the journey continues...................... only Angelina...

@@kevingood4644 Kevin, I've been criticized by many fans (and specifically one who never gives up) about what happened. I stand by all my opinions (yes, opinions) for one very crucial reason, no one will ever find out exactly what happened. Let me put that another way, "What truly happened!" Angelina's camp would rather keep quiet about the whole thing and, instead, relish all the attention she created in front of the American audience. There is no question, their objective was realized and there was no reason to stir up controversy about 'what happened'. AGT? They stay quiet because of a very different reason. The ugly mess they create with all the performers before they are entitled to go on stage is well known. In case any of the performers 'make it big time' they want to get a 'piece of the action'. People can agree or disagree with that statement but in Angelina's case they stepped away from their normal routine and, once they did, everything that followed was suspect, particularly the ridiculous voting set up. Let's face it, it they had employed the usual voting technique Angelina, in my opinion. would have won in a landslide decision. But, because her camp didn't sign a binding contract, SHE COULDN'T WIN. Kevin, good observation because many people will always wonder if Angelina knew what the results would be in advance. And, one other tidbit not brought up in this video but worth thinking about. How about the tee shirt she wore underneath her jacket when she sang "The Yellow Brick Road'?
