I am 78 years old and I have never in all my years listened to an artist who became the song, revealing the emotional content so realistically! And this besides the original works she has begun to release. I used to replay songs because the had a catchy tune or phrase, but with Angelina I replay the songs over and over to experience the emotion of the story she tells in song. It is not just an addiction, it is food for the soul-calming and enlivening at the same time. I am not one easily given to listening to emotional stories, but when Angelina sings/tells the story in song I am swept away, captivated, every time...thanks for your reaction, again...

My friend, how did you feel inside while you were listening to Angelina sing to you? Everything about her performance was near perfect and included runs which raised your eyebrows and made you smile. Her overtones were bouncing all over the room. But, how did you feel inside? The emotional roller coaster she put you on captivated your attention? Right now at 15 years old and still on the upward climb I would match her up against anyone in the world and I believe people would choose to listen to Angelina sing to them before anyone else. That decision is based on her musical genius and her soothing, soulful, jazzy delivery accompanied most times by only a guitar or a piano. That's enough right there, yes? But, wait. Her personality, so humble, so gracious, loving and caring, respectful and having the ability to touch someone's heart when she sings is something that cannot be produced. It has to be genuine. Sometimes our minds can be tricked but not our hearts. The heart knows in an instant what Angelina is bringing to the table and it's wow! wow! wow! So, what does your heart do? What's great with Angelina is the fact that she is here to entertain us with her voice. She doesn't need all the theatrics that most try to do to impress us , her voice is all she needs and most times , she doesn't have a ton of instruments accompanying her. The voice is the instrument.

As much as I love Adele, she writes beautiful songs that are right in Angelina’s wheelhouse-and Angelina kills them just like this one. You haven’t reacted to A Million Years Ago or Someone Like You both of which are beautiful songs written and sung by Adele. Angelina just nails the emotion, and her voice has more texture and warmth than Adele’s. You will like those better than the originals-guaranteed. One of my absolute favorites is Angelina’s cover of Rihanna’s “Stay”. It’s just stunning, with Angelina (sitting down, by the way) and a great acoustic guitar backing her. You need to hear that cover. And as another commenter mentioned, one of the most amazing sitting-down performances you’ll ever come across is Angelina’s cover of Etta James “I’d Rather Go Blind.” That’s one you’ll remember for a long time. Angelina reaches into her vocal toolbox and brings out a voice you’ve not heard before. Her range of styles is really incredible.

No doubt in my mind you will say there are dozens of covers she completed which are far superior to the original. Angelina is a once in forever musical artist. I have turned 180 degrees on my thought process concerning Republic Records. I have been critical of Republic for not promoting her first two singles. I now like to think Republic has given Angelina and her family what they desired and that is the freedom to create without interference AND allow Angelina to finish her schooling before having her career explode. We angels need to be patient and in the meantime, I will work harder at helping my neighbors which is so important to Angelina and her family. I will be requesting reactors to support a charity or find other ways to help those in need.

Highly, when an interviewer asked her if she felt like her age (that was when she was 12) she answered: "only when I look into my passport" and she had a minuscule smile/smirk on her face (she hates interviews). When you are as highly intelligent as AJ surely is, and emphatic, you can imagine, that she must sing. Stay save and healthy as always. German greetings.

More often than not Angelina does her home produced covers sitting down. She has always had amazing breath control and can produce controlled power sitting down, no problems at all. I would like to see her accompanying herself on the piano which, of course, would mean singing sitting down. She is a good piano player from what I've seen and it would be great to see her perform that way, like Nora Jones.

Most of her covers are better than the originals. The reason why is because she is able to connect with the emotions expressed in the song far better than most of the originals, making us feel those emotions. And let's not forget that even though it sounds like she went through those emotions, she couldnt possibly have due to her age (except the loss of her grandpa).
