It is very easy to forget that although she is so talented she is still a little girl. She was 12 or 11 at the time this was done. I was an adult when I lost my grandfather and I was still a wreck and we were not as close as AJ was with hers. I hate seeing anyone in pain like this.

👩🏻🎤🎵🌎⭐️🇳🇴❤️ Thanks Ceci. Angelina recorded this beautiful tribute just a few days after her paternal grandfather passed away in March of 2018. Yes, that is his picture on the phone beside her. On her Facebook page she wrote: "Our family lost a treasure today, my grandfather passed away. He was very close to me and have always supported me in everything I did. He always made me smile, laugh and gave me great life lessons. He was a man who got respect from all over the town, always helped people in need, he was the definition of a true gentleman and generous man with a big heart. He will be remembered by homeless people he helped to be able to make a living. He was in deep pain for a couple of months now, he will no longer suffer from the pain. May he rest in peace, our memories together will stay forever in my heart. Until we meet again,❤️"

Thanks for sharing that. Since I am not on social media, I have never read this. Now I see where this wonderful young girl gets her big heart and humble attitude. I think it was only a year or so after losing her paternal grandfather, that she lost her maternal grandfather. Then she wrote "Million Miles" for him, but probably in some ways for both of them.

You are right, her maternal grandfather passed away in November, 2019, and she wrote the beautiful Million Miles for him, saying "This song is dedicated to anyone who has lost a loved one. I wrote this song thinking about all the great memories I had with my grandpa and how much it hurts to lose someone. I hope this song finds a place in your heart, as it comes straight from mine."

A lo largo de mi vida , nunca seguí a un cantante, pocas veces fui a ver a alguien cantar, pero...... algún día todo cambia y -Angelina tiene algo ..... que mueve el piso y la forma de escuchar... me gustaría darle mi agradecimiento por sus interpretaciones a ella y felicitar a sus padres por los logros de su hija. saludos desde Uruguay

Tiene un talento tremendo, no sólo que ha estudiado desde pequeña, sino que desde siempre amó a la música y sabe transmitir su sentimiento. I only watch this in a reaction now, never by myself, because it's just too sad. This was right after the funeral for her paternal grandpa who died in March 2018. A year later she sang Happier to him, beautifully, with no crying. In Nov 2019, she lost her maternal grandpa & that's who she wrote Million Miles for, although I assume she had her paternal grandpa in mind, as well. Thank you Ceci, for such a respectful reaction. I can't think of any other artist that would share something like this with her fans & that's another reason why we love her so much.

thank you Cici for reacting to this song when i first watched this my level of respect and the humbleness Angelina shows just made me cry and i cry everytime i see it i am ex military and all my veteran brothers and sisters have nothing but admiration and respect for Angelina there are quite a few very talented young singers out there who we love very much but none of them touches our souls like Angelina she is a gift from God and we are thankful to Angeline for teaching us all the act of kindness and humility

Una vez pude ver un video donde ella tenia como 6 añitos esraba con su abuelo como en una tienda de discos y esa linda niña tomaba los discos de jazz y nombraba las canciones y sus interpretes y estaba tan contenta como lo estaria un niño en una feria o en una tienda de golosinas angelina es amor 👣es musica 🥰

Very difficult to watch our barefoot princess cry. Angelina has come to us to put us in touch with our emotions, which for many people is somewhere they don't want to go. For me, it was a long painful process but the beauty of Angelina's music made it possible and now I am much better off. She is a angel.

Angelina was gifted a rare talent from birth, but also a great family who nurtured her both as a person and as an artist. Her family could have tried to cash in on having a child prodigy. They have so far balanced supporting her dreams to be a superstar and protecting her from being exploited and burned out like so many other young stars.

I just want to add a big kudos to Ivan for his very sensitive and respectful accompaniment. This is indeed harrowing to listen to, and I don't think I can do so again. Despite all that, Angelina's rendering here is so, so beautiful.

This was a tuff moment in her young life. To loose someone that had been there forever, someone to close to even think of being gone. She sang this song to him and then let us see and shear her pain. What a brave girl Angelina was there. Ivan sensed her emotions and stopped just at the right moment.

Lo de ser de luz me encantó!. Iván dijo en un comentario del video que hacía diez minutos que se veían por primera vez, que él no conocía la canción, que ella le mostró en su móvil, ensayaron un poquito y arrancaron. Que una niña de 12 años tome una canción como ésta y suprimiéndole alguna línea y cambiando girl por grandpa la convierta en un tremendo homenaje para su abuelo fallecido deja sin palabras a más de uno y cómo la cantó es realmente conmovedor...

I don't know how Angelina was able to sing this, feeling as she did after her grandfather's death. She communicates her tremendous sadness throughout the performance, which you'll see when you listen again. Only watch this video when you feel you need a good cry. Otherwise be careful, as Angelina's emotions are so very clear, powerful, and sad.

Recorded after the passing of Angelina's grandpa, this video says a lot about the maturity and the beautiful soul this girl has... Not only did she choose to sing this dedication for her grandfather, and then managed to power through it (even though you see that she was fighting back the tears the whole time)... on top of that, she was also kind enough to share this personal and intimate moment with the world. Angelina will often turn to music to help cope with loss, and then when she shares that music, I think she hopes that it will help others cope with their own losses. ...and all of that is without even mentioning her amazing voice.

Ceci, this was her paternal grandfather, who died in 2018 and this song was a tribute to him and a good bye. In November 2019 just around when AGT was recorded her maternal grandfather (Million Miles), a Japanese gentleman, who influenced AJ with his generosity, died in hospital after a very trying sickness. Angelina wrote on Instagram about that day the telephonies rang in LA, her mom took the call listened and collapsed to the floor. 2 years before she lost her good friend Avici to suicide. Yeah that is harrowing to a human being regardless age or gender.

I can empathize with Sara. When my father called in the middle of the night to tell me that my mother had died I just sat in my bed and screamed for about 10 minutes.

Shortly after attending her grandfather's services #AngelinaJordan sat with Ivan in her hotel room to set down her grief in this song. She shared this with her KZfaq viewers with the hope that we would have understanding and sympathy. Her courage at this young age is frought from both innocence and determination. I have cried with her countless times in watching this piece. Thank you for getting to this one Ceci.

Según entiendo sus abuelos, uno de origen sueco y el otro japonés, murieron. El primero en fallecer fue el abuelo paterno, el sueco, el que aparece en la foto del movil, a quien le dedica esta canción. El otro, el materno, el japonés, es a quien le dedica la canción Millon miles.

To this day I am totally enamored that this young child would bring her sadness for all the world to see in this video. She is such a sweet, humble, caring human being with a gift from heaven. Thank you so much Ceci, for that & for realizing what was going on & being sensitive about how hard this was for Angie. Angie was 12 & 2 months. She was just at her grandfather’s funeral (march of 2018) & she did this in the hotel room & was meeting Ivan Mendez for the 1st time, the guitarist to play this. (I hope you noticed, she had no mic either) She had also lost her best friend Avicii (the singer) the next month in April to suicide & she dedicated a song to him too, it was his song to, Angelina Jordan sings (Wake Me Up) April 2018 Avicii kzfaq.info/get/bejne/fJufoKamubedg2Q.html (Ivan Mendez id the guitarist & using her new mic she just received for her 12th b-day) from her grandma's channel, Angelina Jordan Fanclub Mosarz The next year 2019 she would lose her other grandpa. He passed in Nov of 2019 while filming (semi-finals) AGT-C for the 2020 AGT-C show. She wrote "Million Miles for him". Than in Dec 2019 just a month later she would lose another friend former prince (by marriage) of Norway, Ari Behn to suicide. She dedicated a song to him to (this is from her grandma's channel) After hearing Ari Behn RIP Angelina Jordan with trembling hands, she performs this song kzfaq.info/get/bejne/gb6hf8aX39bMn6c.html She's playing a guitar on her couch. You can see the sadness in her eyes & in her words even at the end when she says "Bye". This is very touching, you should react to these songs she sings as dedications too. Good reaction Ceci. I too, on first viewing this superb tribute, was unprepared for the shock of Angelina's raw emotion toward the end. Tears every time now I view this beautiful fitting tribute. Total respect to her for sharing it with us. She is so totally open, hiding nothing. Amazing, esp for one her age.

I cannot watch this performance of hers and not cry. I've tried. But her reaction at the end is so raw and real. She is the real deal. From the top of her head to the bottom of her bare feet.

Haces un excelente trabajo, me encanta !! En cuanto a Angelina, la llamo mi niña y la sigo desde que la descubrí a sus siete añitos con Bloomy sunday ... Me pareció alucinante su interpretación. Thanks Ceci. I don’t listen to this much because of the very raw pain that is so evident. It is such a beautiful tribute to her grandpa, the love within the family is probably the most important asset they have. I just read a comment that this was the first time that Ivan accompanied Angie. He appears to feel the distress as well. And then he was taken into the fold as another person in the family mix. Every song she sings is a gift. This was one of the best gifts she could have given us. Parenthetically, Egil was abruptly paired with Angelina. They met as he accompanied her when she sang for the prime minister and her cabinet after winning NGT.

This is still hard for me to watch because she looks so sad and then she breaks down at the end. Still, she DELIVERED. And I agree with you CECI, Ivan and Angelina are a great pair. 😇💞💞💞

I tend to avoid this performance because it rips my heart out to see her in that much pain. One of the things that makes Angelina unique is that she shares everything. I don't know of another artist that does that. That speaks to her character and her confidence that we will still love her, even if she is not at her best. And actually, I believe that it causes us to love her even more. Whoever requested this performance might have warned you that tissues would be required. Much love to you CECI. xoxo 💕💕

For me Angelina Jordan is a phenomenon in recent years. He presented something that made everyone stunned, because every song that was sung was beyond their expectations. And Angelina gives more, and this is what makes her special. I followed him when he was seven years old, at the Norwegian Got Talent event to be precise. From there, I saw that great talent in the music industry would be born. I hope you can react to Angelina Jordan's bang bang song. Thank you 🙏🙏

One must be made of stone to NOT cry at this. AJ seems to revert to SINGING when she feels sorrow. She did tributes to Avici and Ari Behn. These performances were very sad as well, but not quite as close to her as her grandpa was. Beautiful Reaction.

Actually, I think it was very brave of Angelina to allow this video to be released. After I saw it the first time, I wouldn’t even watch it again for a long time-I couldn’t stand to see her so vulnerable and upset. She’s such a special young lady!

I was surprised that she didn't lose control way before the end once I found out the circumstances. It was said that when she recorded million miles it took several takes and that isn't normal for her, she is usually a one take singer and that is rare in its self. I also have cried with her on this song.

I love this reaction, and I have watched many! You noticed it all. Love how you see that Ivan's playing is so sensitive. I love when flamenco guitar players are so in tune with the singer...same thing with him. He's awesome. Angelina sings this so beautifully.

The picture of, and dedication to her grandfather are the warning that this is going to be a tearjerker. Despite challenges of language, I am struck by the commonality of message and empathy of commenters (in Ceci's reactions and others) who from very diverse backgrounds all around the planet have for this young Norwegian girl. Angelina's global influence through her music and more importantly through her character should not be underestimated. She gives me hope that humans may get their act together.

I’ve avoided watching your reaction to this because I’ve seen the video before and I hate seeing Angelina so sad. I didn’t really want to see it analyzed, but you were kind and sympathetic to her grief. It also brings tears to my eyes every time I see it, as it a premonition of how my granddaughters will react when I pass, even though none of them sing.

Hola Ceci, gracias por esta reaccion, en uno de tus vivos te la recomende y justo pedias conciones que no fueran tristes, pero bueno, Angelina a pesar de su corta edad ya paso por varias perdidas y en todas les hizo gran un homenaje, siempre que veo este video termino con lagrimas, Angelina es asi, emocion pura y muy humilde, la llevo en mi corazon, hay una cancion de Angelina, que en realidad es un video de la cancion con ella cuando era chica y lo grabo junto a sus compañeros del colegio cuando era una niña, una gran cancion, When You´re Smiling, el video, su voz y actuacion son impresionantes, Ceci muchas gracias, te felicito que te vas de recital jajaa, te lo mereces, haces un gran trabajo...
