This is completely her arrangement. There is a video out there of her working on it in a hotel room with a guitarist, including other parts of the original song that she did not use. She crafted this to fit within the short time allowed for each contestant. Queen was thrilled with her version, and actually gave her the rights to this arrangement.

She didn’t agree to a winners contract to publish with Psyco, Simons label. Also queen gave Her the rights to the song by her arrangement to publish on her own. So when she was done that was it.

I know this is a big statement, but for me, this is the best singing performance I’ve ever seen. I’ve watched it hundreds and hundreds of times, and I still react emotionally and physically to it. It’s the complete package. A 13 year old in front of judges, thousands in the audience, and national TV. It’s her own incredible arrangement of an untouchable classic-delivered acoustically with a voice for the ages. It actually makes us understand the melancholy in the lyrics in a way Freddie didn’t. The original is spectacular, of course, but it’s a different song with Angelina. As always, she doesn’t compete with the original, but gives us a new way to understand and love the song. Angelina makes you feel, not just hear, the lyrics. You can see everyone truly mesmerized. Go right on to her next AGT performance of Elton’s Goodbye, Yellow Brick Road. Again, you could hear a pin drop in the audience because Angelina has them at the first couple notes. After that, everyone is on for the full ride, and it’s just beautiful. (I think she came in fifth, which tells you everything about the voters.)

I've seen this hundreds of times, and i still tear up and get shivers...I knew you'd like it too. There is something about Angelina that makes her more than an ordinary singer. I don't know what it is, but I will continue to my dying day listening to this gift to the ears and the soul.

We are initially drawn in by her beautiful voice and, quite honestly, that would be enough, but invariably we fall in love with her as a person. Fabulous reaction and commentary ! This is a mind blowing performance from our barefoot princess ! Angelina picks up the mic and starts a capella with perfect pitch it's so captivating and mesmerizing how she had the complete audience in her hands you could hear a pin drop ! Her breathy voice and beautiful vibrato coupled with her raspy sound is so enthralling to hear ! Angelina arranged this version completely and had to cut it down to a 2 min performance and delivered a masterpiece ! Even the members of Queen were so impressed they gave her the rights to cover ! Sadly she didn't win AGT because she wouldn't sign with Simon's company ! Her parents told the show that she just wanted to perform and that she was too young and not ready for the spotlight yet ! Such a wise choice as she eventually signed with Republic Records and that gave her the opportunity to work in the studio and work on her craft slowly ! Well, for me it was really genius of her to do so. It gave the arrangement so much character and depth to the lyrics. The whole piece is stunning and her performance was spotless.

The "they" who arranged this brilliant version was 100% Angelina.

This girl has absolutely no fear when performing, and not just here, but beginning when she had to sing a complete song when she was either 7 or just turned 8 in a 2nd round audition for Norway's Got Talent. In total a'capella, from start to finish, she did an amazing rendition of Billie Holiday's intricate song 'I'm A Fool To Want You'. Starting in the proper 'key' with no musical assistance was startling enough, but to then complete the full song in a'capella just staggers the mind. We are talking, not about performing in some casual 'at ease' setting but before a national audience as well as a full audience where she performed it. Only having to start this song in a'capella seem's like child'd play, compared to her NGT performance, for this one in lifetime talent. Her versatility excellence in so many numerous genres is something I've never heard another singer match in its totality.
