Bad Valentine is a follow up to Now I’m the Fool, two songs about unrequited love of the same person, written from two totally different points of view and both sung and composed by the brilliant Angelina Jordan. He says it right at the beginning “I thought I told you I would mess up girl I warned you right from the start”. He even says to her something about being so nice she even smiles when she’s hurt, fits Jordan to a tee!

This is pure Billie Holiday style jazz, infused with the 'sass' that Amy Winehouse was famous for. She also injects a bit of power that reminds us of Adele.

This is kind of like Angelina set up in your Living Room to sing a song for you. That's the kind of vibe I get from this.
