Hello, Michael. Great reaction. And very nice to see you back with Angelina as well. The shop where they shot the video is owned by a friend of Angelina's family, and Angelina was 16 years old when she recorded the video. This performance is very good of course, but it's not my favourite performance of the song by her. That one happened a couple months earlier, live outdoors on a televised, vastly popular music program called "Allsang På Grensen", which translates to "Sing-along At The Border". The fact that I prefer a live, outdoor performance over a studio recording should potentially tell you something about her capabilities🙂. It's cool that you want to listen to a current performance, but I implore you to do one more performance first, recorded at the same time as this one. She did another studio recording, this time of "Suspicious Minds", made popular by Elvis. The video more or less coincided with the release of the new Elvis movie. At the time she also made her acquaintance with both Lisa Marie and Priscilla Presley. Just make double sure to really familiarise yourself with Elvis" version before you do the reaction, as it will help you a lot in understanding and appreciating what she did in her rendition. A 180 degree flip would be an about correct way to describe it😉 After that, I really think you should react to her recent performance of "Unchained Melody", originally by The Righteous Brothers, which she performed at the Nobel Peace Prize concert here in Norway on December 11th last year, 1 month before she turned 18. She turned 18 on January 10th. The concert was a tribute to the winner, Narges Mohammadi, an Iranian women's rights advocate, who was sentenced to 35 years in jail for her activities. She also received more than 130 lashes. Her twin daughter and son, 18 years old, came to Norway in their mother's place to receive the price. They currently live with their uncle in Paris, and haven't seen their mother in many years. They sat just a few feet away from Angelina during the performance, and it must have been an incredibly strong experience for all parties, taking the words and the meaning of the song into consideration. Also the fact that the most influential person in Angelina's life, her grandmother Mery Zamani, is also Iranian, makes it all even more special. The performance must have been extremely important for Angelina and her family as well. Around the age of 7, Angelina said in an interview that one of her biggest goals was to perform at the event. Her performance at 17 was her second time performing at the event, the first one happened when she was 8🙂 So it's fair to say that she's accomplished at least ONE of her goals already. Angelina Jordan did 19 songs per concert while she was in Las Vegas for her 2-29-24, two-show concert, and she sang "Moon River" in the first concert, and she switched it out to a sensual "Funny Valentine" for the second concert. Basically, that ends up being 38 songs in a 4-hour period. Look at James Thiel and BigAngieFan's channels, as they have multiple cameras from different angles that they put into each video. Every song is spectacular, and even though you could tell that her voice was strained during some parts of Mercy, she figured it out and didn't use that particular voice for the remainder of the concert. You should have gotten the version from when she was 12. She was not only singing in the original key, she was note for note. Be advised there is a discrepancy in the video's music caused by a problem with music tract that wasn't precisely spliced together, but her voice tract is the original and unedited.
