I have never seen anyone who reproduces an Elvis song so well. the others just try to copy it but angelina sung it is simply unattainable

Elvis recorded this in 1973, but the original artist was Jim Reeves who first recorded it in 1962. Angelina captured the Elvis version perfectly, with her usual rich hushed tones. She really knows which of her many voices to adapt to each song. Unfortunately it was way too short, as I could listen to her for hours and hours :-)

When will she start releasing only her own songs. Just take a break, sit down with some good songwriters and release an EP of your own materials with one or two of the tracks making to the official charts let's say in Norway for further distribution in other Scandinavian countries where her popularity is huge. Enough with covers.

She has done no covers in 2020. It's possible that era is over (For now). The problem with waiting for her album is that everyone and their cousin wants to produce it, and her family is very particular. We still don't know who she's working with. I imagine her future concerts will include covers, so she'll still need to sing them.

@@Mr.DamianM I am convinced all she needs is one solid single and everything will follow. There are so many Scandinavian songwriters that would die to write a song for her.

@@Mr.DamianM Or as an alternative, she may be featured on the track of some well known DJ like Kygo or Steve Aoki meaning she will be credited on official charts.

@@onewxrldmusic7303 Never understood with pre-occupation with must do your own songs. Angeline has delighted hundreds of thousands / possibly millions with her covers, and the bringing back of forgotten songs in her style. At the end of the day we enjoy her voice and presentation.
