This was one of my wife’s favorite songs when we met in 1985. She died about eight years ago. I can’t go on but somehow I do…….

I love this song! I remember when I was 19, when I just started going through my trial, three angels appeared to me and told me I was being Protected. I didn't believe them at the time, but it was as though I had been changed forever, I knew then that there was a God. I started to see life in a different light and this song gave me hope. A hope that one day I will no longer hurt the way I did back then and it also gave me a peace that if something were to befall me that I would be in a better place. Things are a lot better today I am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel and I thank Amy Grant for giving millions of people besides me hope!!!

This song was playing at my house all day. At the end of the day my gas stove caught fire. I put it out with water. That is impossible. Thank you Jesus for Angels, GLORY TO GOD

This is so sweet. My mom listened to this when I was a kid but I never saw this video til now.

Years ago my children were at an all night gym night, church singing service, etc. I was home by myself and was a little scared. Right at that moment that song came in my mind. I went right to sleep after that. Thank Jesus!!!!!!!!

I remember when I got saved and I felt something/someone holding me. I asked my grandmother, who was there, who was hugging me and she told me that I was all by myself kneeling in front of the pew! Later, I thought about all the times I escaped getting hurt in an accident, etc. and knew it was angels. So, when I began singing in Church, this was one of my favorites to sing! I just love this song!!! 🥰😇

i finishe reading a biography of amy grant a few days ago...i'm a fan...her career was calculated no different from michael jackson's or the beatles....she always intended to get her message out to the widest audience possible...if that meant going pop, so be it...she's also very honest about who she is and about being a woman...she not ashamed of her sexuality and doesn't try to hide...bascially, she's just saying it's cool to be you, god still loves you...

Setting: Snow-covered highway at night in the plains of northern Indiana in 1985 or so. My girlfriend Betty and I were driving from Boston to meet my parents in Chicago. I was sleeping in the back seat. Betty was driving. She woke me. All I could see was blowing white horizontal snow on a fully snow covered highway. In the distance there were two red lights - the running lights of a semi truck. She told me she didn’t know what to do. She couldn’t see the road to take an exit and it seemed dangerous to attempt to pull off to the side of the road so she followed the truck lights ahead of her. We decided to pray, asking for wisdom. As I prayed with my eyes closed I saw five angels, one sitting on each of the four corners of the car plus one more hovering overhead just in case. I prayed about this and later spoke to Betty about it. We ended our prayer. We felt peace. We decided to proceed - driving by looking at those red lights. Then Betty turned on the radio. It had been off for hours as I slept and by then we were a whole state away from where we were when the radio was last on. The song was playing.

My mom used to sing me to sleep with this song.

I saw an angel honestly and didn't know it til an hour later I wasn't saved then but would be the next year I was in christian school than he helped somebody pay for their groceries at aides depot store he looked poor I saw him later walking the road.

I'm so glad you reconsidered the value and hope of your life. God does care and though He does not promise a smooth road of life He does promise the hard times will work for good (Romans 8:28) if you follow Him. And He will use those trials to make you stronger and wiser. Miracles do happen - I have seen it in my life in so many dark times. Maybe you already know this, but I wanted to encourage you just in case
