Online Friends always asked me, Roy why are you so different? This is why, I listened to Christian songs when I was a teenager . Im not the best Christian but it was by God's Grace that I made it this far in life. Time to come back and strengthen the foundations of our Faith in Jesus Christ Our Lord and Saviour.🙏🙏

I completely relate to this song. This song talks about a reckless car running out of gas before it runs her way and that describes the way many Angels have protested me throughout my entire life. First example I jumped on the wrong side of the pontoon boat on the Mississippi River and I started to hop up & down but started to float down the river but Mom said where is Robert and Dad jumped in the river to save me. Another time I was at a Rock concert and I was in the pit where you you can’t move yourself unless the crowd itself moves. There was only one problem a lady fell behind my knees and I fell to the cement floor and was getting stepped on until this tiny guy pulled me up with his hand and he disappeared. These two events are an example of the many Guardian my Savior Jesus Christ has sent to save me in my 54 years of living. What you doing. It may not seem like there is no one with you but I am proof that Jesus has Angels watching over us.

This song means a lot since I have had angel experiences I felt one pull me back when a reckless driver slammed on breaks and stoped inches from me and on my birthday may 16 2022 the lord in the quiet of the night saw for in a blink of an eye see one it was huge glowing pure white light glory to God thank you Jesus angels watching over me!!😊💝💝💝

Right after I heard this song I was walking along the sidewalk toward Great Barrington, MA. A drunk driver ran up the curb just after he past me, true story.

In 1995 Christmas Eve I was heading home from work I was listening to this song on my headset, riding my bicycle on a sidewalk when I drunk driver came and hit me from behind she dragged me for 3 mi under her vehicle before somebody car before somebody stops her when I hit the ground I stood up and I stood up I saw a white light I thought I fell off the bed and I was heading towards it a lady of appeared before me and told me to go back to sleep everything was going to be okay so I said thank you an went to sleep later to wake in a hospital saying I was hit by a truck I spent a year in the hospital of recovering how to learn how to walk I was told I had a broken back had plastic surgery on my face when I finally made it out of the hospital went to the police station to get my purse and stuff the bag said Dead on arrival the only song that lived on my CD was this song all the other songs were destroyed but mostly the part was when I got hit was God only knows the time of my life was threatened just today a reckless car ran out of gas before it ran my way that's apparently when I got hit my angel was there to tell me to go back to sleep and it would be okay

Amy and Michael W Smith are two of he true pioneers of Christian contemporary music. Amy's Age to Age - which just so happens to have several songs written by MWS, go figure - was groundbreaking and paved the way to modern Christian music today. I think MW is the greatest Christian musician of all time. He's a modern day Bach, Mozart or Beethoven. He has inspired a lot of my interest in music.

Amy Grant has brought alot of people to God so judge not! And without her pop songs I would have never heard her gospel songs which lead me to God. We all sin. Judge not unless ye be judged.

I remember thinking how cool it was back then that there was a thriving Christian music scene, good pop songwriters and videos. Honestly, you could fit in lyrics about anything to those melodies and arrangements, but still, it was rather refreshing.

In my country there was an organization called the Christian Television Association. The CTA would run ads on commercial television. I remember a segment from this video was used in one ad. Years later I watched the video in full. The presentation is a little cheesy. Amy singing to a room full of wholesome looking Christian youth. The song has a good message. I have been learning about how God use angels to minister to us and guide us.

As I lay here ill, I always Seek ye First... Cause it's truly the only thing (especially this song hmmm) that will force me to smile and belt it out or at least remember that more people need to hear these reminders of unconditional love even when I'm off key but passionate about the good message worth sharing! And hoping with each time a passerby might hear just a snippet of that grandiose love, snaps them out of that resented love that we all make each other feel in this fast paced world that's way to smart for me! I can't keep up! "I promise you don't owe me anything for being nice today, just pay it forward by loving yourself some more today! And let me see that smile!" Oh yeah and love your neighbor MORE than oneself, every living thing on this beautiful earth deserves to see how you brighten it each day! And what luck for me and I'm not even Irish, I think!"

The times the woman finally leaves she thinking of what's best, wise, necessary for safety, sanity, peace. It's never an easy decision but most times a wise and necessary one. Love is not just always hugging and sweetness sometimes love means doing what the other person needs not wants.

That's my favorite kind of comment! How exciting!! I saw Amy sing with Billy Graham i think when i was in 9th grade and was a counselor at a Carmen concert in the early 90s. I'm such a fan of 80s and 90s Gospel-y stuff. Petra, WhiteHeart... all those guys are so great! Rich Mullins will always be my fave, and of course he got his start largely by having some of his stuff recorded by Miss Amy!

Amy looks more refined and elegant now than her "prep-school snobby" look from the 80's. Yet, that period was her most creative with lots of energy flow into her work. It was very new and uncertain where this music would go. Amy Grant said yes, when everybody said no. She is a fighter.
