Hi Tania! Are you asking about Actor Business Plan, specifically? Or the general advice on the site? While there are always differences between markets, I try to share what I know to be true for all actors working in film and television. Theatre gets a little different since actors are generally able to be cast in a broader spectrum of types. But if you're looking to work in film and television, I got you, boo!

Hey, Angie Im a 22 year old trying to break into the industry. I’ve had this idea about reaching out to students in the university here in my city that are in the film program about possibly booking some roles for their projects... 🤔 wanted to see what you thought about that & how I would go about it 💭

Alexis. This is a great idea! It might be tricky getting in touch with them, but if you can find an email, you can send them a quick sample of your work. Even if it's a scene you've put on tape like an audition. It's important that they see your work so they'll remember you for their projects. Good luck!

Lots of actors are actually very shy/introverted people. The great thing about acting is that you can kind of disappear into a character, and look at things from their point of view instead of your own.
