Angie...I first saw you on KZfaq , in your movie " Deadly Inn " . Love that movie...BTW...Anyway...Your acting is absolutely fantastic. There isn't a throw away expression in ANY of your scenes. I would REALLY like to see you in Hallmark movies , like with Lacy Chabert...You're ALL as good and valuable , as an actor , as she and anybody else on Hallmark is. And...Last , but not least...you , taking the time to help aspiring actors out ,with your advice , etc...is sooo admirable. You DEF have a FAN , here ! The world needs more people like you. God Bless

Step 1: get lucky and be born attractive. Step 2: get artificial love throughout your life based upon this luck and become so pretentious you never develop any other traits beyond looks. Step 3: claim you can teach a skill you lucked into, know nothing about acquiring and are clueless about teaching. Step 4: deal with your vapid, undeserving luck and reward from nothing of your doing. Step 5: live off your husband who chose you for looks while you pretend to be special or important. So sad. Why do beautiful women never give their lives for others? Seems more like a curse than a blessing.

I have a live audition at a talent showcase in 2 weeks. As we’re allowed to have props and I’m not sure where and how close the camera will be (waist up, face and shoulders only, full body?), I’m not quite sure what to do with my hands. I feel like I have to be overly energetic almost to the point of cheesy, if that makes sense, and I don’t want it to feel awkward. Any tips?

"Don’t apologize" should always be the rule, even on set. Or don’t beat yourself up for messing up. It’s totally amateur. Assume yourself like a pro. Always better to laugh at yourself and ask to do it again. Thanks for mentioning.

It always helps when you're smart, beautiful, fun, and connected. Not many have ALL these wonderful parts needed to get jobs and full time work. After 31 years at Warner Bros and many other companies we see a revolving door which is pretty sad. Even very good looking people like Brad Pitt and Angelina etc. who have the 'IT FACTOR' didn't have EVERYTHING needed to gain work and Fame. Al Pacino said it best in one film we did and spoke between filming 'Danny Collins at The Greek Theatre, 'Preparation and LUCK'. Every single actor I've spoken to uses this ONE WORD like Val Kilmer who I had Cancer with and Michael Douglas who helped me while fighting cancer, LUCK. Therefore, do your very best. Listen to the advise above. And 'Good Luck'. That's the game guys. Sadly there is no magic words and things you can do. I do wish you all the LUCK. That one 'thing' which gets you in those doors.

Yah I’m stopping this around the 1 minute mark. You have a great speaking ability and I’m sure you’ve got plenty of good content coming…..but know what you’re talking about before hitting record. Starting to talk about the single largest actors work group and not knowing what the abbreviation stands for does not instill the viewer with confidence that the rest of the info you’re about to give is going to be useful

What if it's like an audition like a zoom phone call what to expect on doing that
@AngiePattersonYT
@AngiePattersonYT Жыл бұрын
Hey Jasmin! So basically they send you a Zoom link ahead of time, and then ask you to log on about 10 min before your appt time. Then you log on, usually a casting assistant comes on and puts you in a virtual waiting room, and then when it's your turn, the casting director comes on. You usually can't see any of the producers or anyone else. Then when it's done, you log off! Pretty simple.

Hello 👋 thank you for the video it was very informative. In the real world I have been blessed to be able to get started doing the commercials and billboard spots for the company I work for which has been and still is my passion and has really opened my eyes to what I want to continue to do. I just wanted to ask maybe what I should do now? Should I be looking for an agency, or maybe some kind of representation only two maybe three years into this and it comes very natural and i would love to expand my portfolio and get more experiences perhaps TV or film or just more commercials? Thanks again for the continent.
