Hello, I make tutorials on how to create art dolls. I go over all the different steps to make a artdoll of your very own. From sculpting the clay, painting, to sewing and putting them together.
For todays video I’ll be making another one of my three eyed sphinx pieces, but this time I’m going with an angler fish theme.

It turned out absolutely gorgeous!!!! I really adore teh design of this one!!! It's like you looked into my brain and found everything i like and went "yeah, i can make that" and DID IT. Amazing!!!! I really love the fins and all ofthe little beading details, but that eyestalk.... omg that eyestalk.... FANTASTIC!!!

That is so gorgeous! 💗This is starting to make me want to make a themed sphinx cat too, I decided on the candy themed first after getting my other art dolls done. ^^

Hmmm. Thank you. These videos are immensely helpful when it comes to my own sculpting and making posable puppets I'm experimenting on (hydra one especially for a gift). I'm using Pixiss Foam Clay in lieu of fabrics because it seems forgivingly bendable when thin and I'm able to just blend it in around the stuffing. If you ever get the chance, I'd recommend some experimenting with it. Picture wire for the armature if you want bendable digits. B]

I love your dolls so much! They are a huge inspiration to me in my own crochet work, keep it up! Many of your more recent videos have been very quiet and hard to hear though, even with my volume turned way up, enough so to make the ad breaks incredibly jarring

Question, what type of clay are you using for your art dolls? Does it matter what type of clay you use for the art dolls?

I tend to use original sculpey for most of my sculpting but any sculpey is wonderful to work with. Original is just more cost affective. And then for more fragile parts, I use epoxy sculpt.
