like rock elements) it makes doll look so unique, people definitely will love bat dragon, i`m sure it will be sold fast)) i also like something like that, for one my doll (my variation of unusual, not classic cute Medusa) i`ve added lip persing, a few diferent earings and used kinda emo colors (black, white and purplish pink). so in the end Medusa looked kinda like emo girls from 2000`s)) i want more this for my dolls but for now can`t choose one which will pull this concept well

finally you`ve tried yarn technique for toes) i wrote about it a few times in your comment section, you`ve made antennas with this technique but never tried to make toes i believe. this toes look good) i`m wraping diferent sections of toe with diferent yarn thickness to create the illusion of joints, it looks much better then straight toe without any relief
