I will never forgive the Democratic party and the Mainstream Corporate media, namely CNN and MSNBC. They blocked him out, rigged the rules in 2016, he was way ahead of Trump in the polls, would have beaten Trump easily. Then they did the same thing this year.

I subscribe to his page on Facebook and I get daily reports from him about what is happening in Washington and his thoughts on it. He's one of the few senators fighting for the people !

The more I hear from this guy, the more I like him. He's smart, he has a sense of social justice and he's a fighter. But more than anything, he talks about the issues facing the middle class. How many of the other candidates running for president (including Hillary) talk about the real issues?

Senator Sanders, i've been avoiding the news lately cause it demoralizes me but i was just told you had a lot to do with this new legislation that states United States Veterans can now go to a private or public hospital if the VA is backed up and Uncle Samuel will pick up the tab. That is very great news and very morale lifting. I'm serious man. Every Senator and every Congress Man or Woman that voted for this new law thank you very much. It's long over due. Senator Sanders should seriously consider higher office.

Bernie's integrity and commitment to the truth keep my belief that we can expose the greedy fakes and liars for what they really are and take our country back from the slimy oligarchy of money hoarders pulling their strings . That belief gives me hope that a better future is possible, but its going to take a massive awakening and mobilization of the 99%. And ballot initiatives need to be utilized; we need to use every tool we can get our hands on to save us. But Egypt shows the power of the ppl.

This man is absolutely right! Because Canada is more socialist based there is more assistance for the poor even though the Canadian system is not perfect. It's easy for people to say let them get jobs, but the problem is there are not enough jobs! Education is very expensive, and the system for public education has been cut back. Many people are not able to have opportunity to have a proper education, and have available employment. This man is absolutely right. What he is saying also applies to Canada to an extent.

So let me understand you better. You are saying that people should not be responsible (AT ALL) for their own action or lack of action? The national graduation rate is UP for the past 3 decades to a lowly 78%. Minorities are even worse. Dropouts cost est $320-350 Billion in lost wages,health, welfare, incarcerations. Yet liberals just want to use the "We need to spend more money" on a problem and then walk away and never check to see if the money produced the right outcome. I would support spending money on PARENTING and Self Responsibility. How about not paying women to have 4-8 kids with different fathers and not married? How about making fathers take the responsibility for their actions? And how about promoting a Can Do, to the children that are tough to be mistreated by the man and expect the taxpayers to take care of them?

If it were true that cutting taxes for the wealthy business owners and corporations led to investments which created jobs, why aren't we drowning in jobs today? It's easy. Business owners big and small don't hire unless there is good reason to do so, and that good reason is predicated on sufficient demand. As a business owner I would only hire additional personnel if the demand for my products/services increased so greatly that the revenue would be greater than the added labor cost and liability insurance coverage (and health insurance coverage if my business has enough people). Thirty-three years of Reaganomics and deficit spending has left us in the worst shape we've been since the Great Depression.

We've massively de-regulated, and look where we are now. Business owners took advantage of it and exploited every legal means of maximizing margins and minimizing costs without actually creating wealth for the middle class.

The issue isn't competency, it is who our elected representatives feel obligated to serve first. We need to get the big money, or as they once said "soft money", out of political campaigns if we want to see attentions return to the electorate vs. the special interests.

I'm a Ron Paul supporter. And when Senator Sanders speaks of an oligarchy in control of both parties...I see eyes are starting to open. As an aside, I have no problem with people being wealthy, just being wealthy through government connections or government favors handed out to corporations or unions or other special interest groups.

He and Ron Paul were on the same side on both the NSA legislation and the position stopping the war. He is not a libertarian, he is a socialist, I'm a progressive. We are drilling domestically much more than in previous years.We imported 60% of our oil in 2006, we now import only 36% of our oil.We drilled 5.5 mil barrels in 2011 and are now drilling 7.5 mil."The U.S. is in the midst of a boom in domestic oil production, thanks largely to new unconventional reserves in North Dakota and Texas". So I'm not sure where this fabricated idea that "You and your party will not open the oil fields so that our dependence on foreign oil could end" argument comes from.

Preach it Bernie! Please use your extra time to reverse the leaving of our manufacturing! Try to get your co Senators to help you! They don't seem to understand! Oh, and the Health Bill is killing us in the Union and others, please help us, healthcare was suppose to help us, not hurt us! We are being right now thrown off our Co Insurance, dumped onto gov rolls b/c the fines are cheaper, we cant afford it so instead of having what we've had for 30 yrs, we will have NO Insurance! Thank you Sir!
