Victoria Jackson is one of my all time favorites on TV. Not sure how else to say it but, there was always a sense of joy in all her work.

Haaaaahahaha...I REMEMBER some of my favorite SNL bits were this hilarious chic, just never knew who she was or where she went! Always wondered why she wasn't BEGGED to be in some of Hollywood's comedy roles, so many of which are just screaming for somebody like this gal with brains and perfectly goofy timing. You go Angry Woman! lol

She touches my heart. I think she was having the courage to speak her own truth.

In a Carson Podcast interview (which is surprisingly good, by the way, and in which she doesn't really discuss politics), she mentions that Carson talent scout/producer Jim McCauley gave her this video after her appearance, and that she suspects it's in black and white for copyright reasons, which may be the reason it hasn't been removed. There's something weirdly sad about her. I think she can be really funny and always hoped things would work out for her, but it seems like there's something hurting there that she never figured out. Also, she would have been fantastic as a character on Pee-Wee's Playhouse.

I absolutely agree she has the right to speak her mind. I also agree she has the right to say everything she has said so far. I would also be angry at anyone who tried to impose on her right to free speech. Free speech is one of the most important rights we have. That being said, nothing she says is protected from criticism. If it was, it would impose on another's right to free speech. So I'm not mad she's speaking her mind, but I am mad at what she is saying, but I defend her right to say it.

SNL had this woman on, and she was very funny, she also did standup comics John Byner and (formerly of Smothers Brothers 1967 fame) Bob Einstein's Canadian import BIZARRE (1980-82, TV, Showtime).
