As is LeBron's tendency, he does little to nothing good in the 4th period, even in a game where they have a comfortable lead. This is episode 2 of a series inspecting whether LeBron James "delivered a title" to LA.
I am breaking this series into quarters and this is the first 4th quarter I'm looking at.
Key Points:
The announcers repeatedly tell the audience that LeBron James simply swinging the ball around the perimeter is some sort of special, high-intelligence basketball; chess against checkers.
LeBron is repeatedly given massive space on the perimeter, showing that his shot is not a threat. When he does drive no one is allowed to challenge him.
LeBron James flops in order to get a call even though he is the one who injured another player with his flailing arms. As usual, the announcers, Mark Jackson being the worst, defend anything LeBron does.
LeBron made only one shot that wasn't right at the rim. He also blew a few right at the rim, despite having the size advantage and the defense not being allowed to challenge him.

AD averaged 21 touches per game the first two games of that series. Two Laker dominant wins. AD got some MVP talk, and the. Bron "took over" the next three games. He limited ADs touches to 13 attempts per game, while his attempts picked up over games 3, 4, & 5 (Lakers were 1-2 in those games with Bron passing up multiple opportunities to be clutch). All because he had to have the FMVP. 😂😂😂😂

LeBron also stat padded a lot of 4th quarters in that series when they were blowing out the heat. I think it happened in 3 games including the close out game. Dude played like 11 minutes in the 4th quarter when they were up by like 26 going into that quarter.

Whether people count the fake bubble title or not (I don't) is irrelevant. It doesn't aid LeBrick's legacy either way. He was the 2nd best player on the team. Fortunately for him he went out of his way to win Finals MVP vs an injured and already mediocre team. His stat-chasing actually cost his team 2 games in a series they should've swept. If he had done that vs an actual great team, they would've 100% lost

@@Snake-re2kxbecause it was the easiest ring in NBA history. The teams didn’t have to worry about travel, keeping their bodies fresh. There weren’t any rough road atmospheres to add to the pressure, it was like playing pick up in an empty gym. They didn’t have to play Denver in altitude, and the entire run was historically weak. It was literally one of the easiest paths to a title ever. Just to put the cherry on top, Miami had multiple starters injured and LeBron’s stat padding meant they didn’t even sweep. And this is all coming from a Laker fan!

@@Snake-re2kx see, there you go again with that “hating” bs. I call it how I see it. That ring was one of, if not the easiest, and it’s easily proven. Why would I need a half ass ring to prove anything to Boston when the Celtics have only won ONE title since 1986, and we’ve won SEVEN since then? All of those Celtic rings came in the 60s, when it was easier to win. You could win a title with 10 wins back then.

After that game last night someone in this discord server I'm in started talking all this weird stuff about Lebron being so great and he was bashing Jordan. This came out of the blue. All the others in the server were like why are you posting this stuff? The guy said Jordan never beat Magic or Bird. So I responded and said "Hmm the 1991 finals don't exist then?" He said Magic was trash that season. I told em Magic was 2nd in MVP voting that year, led the NBA in assists, was 1st team all NBA, averaged 20/7/12, and the Lakers had the 3rd best record in the league that season. He got very quiet after this. But I decided to keep talking and I mentioned the 2011 finals. I said show me the example of Mike getting cooked by a bench player in the finals and losing that finals because of it? No response from that guy 😂

Let's see if LeBron claims that he didn't believe the Lakers were ready to win a title this season the way he said that about the Heat in 2011 haha. He had the best squad, arguably the 2nd best player in the NBA that season in AD (after Giannis), and still needed the referees to help him win the title as well as the other team having two of their three best players miss games in the finals due to injury. But of course LeBron has the best stats so we must not dare question him and should just "appreciate greatness"

AD really had a shot of being the GOAT but LeBalco knew that and came snatched him AND Rondo from us. Ive never seen a defender like Davis who was that elite offensively. Plus he had that dawg in him dude never backed down from anyone even as a rookie. I like our team now but the team LeBron DESTROYED with Davis, Jrue, Niko Mirotic, Boogie, and Rondo was SPECIAL. FUKK YOU LEBRON! I had to watch Jrue and Davis take their teams to the finals in back to back years when that couldve been us

Somehow, I think Lebron James listens to the media saying he "is playing chess". Then, he goes on the court and plays thinking he is making chess-like decisions. Pft. No. A so called "king" does not sacrifice pieces and gain no grounds or, much less, gain useless ground. I'm surprised Anthony Davis was not awarded FMVP. This man is burdened with the expectations of not only impact offense and defense but be ready to help the rest of his team recover from errors and have them back in an offending position to attack. How is it that we don't say "Anthony Davis needs help"?

LeBron made damn sure AD wouldn’t win that MVP…AD’s shot attempts dropped like 40% over the final 3 games and LeBron got extra aggressive to pad his stats. AD fully deserved MVP of that entire title run…he was a monster in the paintball postseason in the Bubble. Not to mention his defense and rim protection were one of the most vital aspects of that championship run.

I despise modern NBA. I've basically only watched 2014-2022 games up until 3 months ago. I feel like if Lebron and other modern players keep claiming that their basketball is better and they'd crush players from the 90's, they should just play a series with 90's rules. Obviously you can't really have retired 90's players play matchups against younger modern NBA players. I'd love to see LeChoke and most modern NBA players attempt and fail to create "better offensive plays". (This probably has been suggested at some point. I'm too tired to go back and look for a similar comment)

I was wrong, and thanks to this channel i see in painful detail how wrong i was. He's barely NBA caliber player if not for all the help he gets from refs. talk about cheating the game. he never would have even said "i never cheat the game" if he didnt know he always cheats the game. He literally made the dumbest freudian slip of all time, it didnt slip out, he planned that sht in a speech and still didnt catch it lol
