If you haven't learnt identities yet, you can also just derive the formula for the area of a triangle from 1/2absinC. a = r, and b = r. So, you end up with 1/2r^2sintheta :)

Hi there, I hope you're willing to help me. My grandson and I are working on a project. Building a cat treadmill wheel. I would like to find out either the diameter or circumference of a Circle if I've got the measurement from A to B(10-10/16) and then the "segment area" is 2"" from the middle of 10-10/16" to the outer edge of circle. So with these numbers is it possible for me to figure out the diameter or circumference of the circle? Thank you in advance for your help. ❤️

In area of triangle you draw prependicular line so it is a prependicular bisect sir if it is perpendicular bisect then what about angle why you divide angle into congruent parts can you clarify this angle division by any law or it is angle bisector because this triangle is iscoless how angle bisector and prependicular bisector are used in a triangle?

Yes it is very possible. When the area of triangle is equals to zero, and that happens when we have segment with the largest chord(diameter) and then we got two equal segment that equals to semi circle.

Sure. As explained You need to find the difference in the area of the Sector and the Area of the Triangle to get the area of the Segment. Both area have been derived and in the end their difference is written as the area of the Segment. Hope that helps. Thanks and feel free to post questions.
