*1-1 Mentorship Information: Price & Structure (Maximum Capacity = 20 Clients Per Year)* It's an absolute pleasure to film these KZfaq videos, and I feel fortunate to receive an abundance of meaningful messages every week, but I am unfortunately faced with the disappointing reality of turning away the vast majority of people who want to work together. I have significantly limited availability and can only support twenty people per year because I do not offer one-off calls or drop-in consulting sessions. Twenty individuals might not sound like maximum capacity, but the last few years of teaching have taught me the importance of maintaining tight energetic boundaries if I want to keep uploading these free videos in addition to serving my current clients to the best of my ability in 2024. To minimise confusion and enhance transparency, I've spent several hours writing this ridiculously long comment to help you decide if my Inner Work Mentorship is the right choice for your development & what you could reasonably expect from working closely together. Please take the time to read this comment before contacting me on Instagram… or feel free to stop reading right now if you’re not interested in my fees, session structure, client expectations, etc. ... *READ BEFORE SCROLLING FURTHER:* I'm interested in long-term change and structural transformation, which is why I've never offered one-off sessions. Complex issues cannot be resolved in a few hours, but we likewise need to define an upper limit for therapeutic containment. I've learned that deep and enduring self-integration requires at least four months of immersive collaboration. Why four months? It's enough weekly contact for us to work through multiple complex issues and developmental possibilities, but short enough to mitigate against unconscious co-dependency and motivational stagnation. I'm currently accepting a maximum of two new clients per month - message me after reading the following section to check my availability. ... *HOW I WORK & WHO I WORK WITH* Unlike therapists and coaches who take an understandably more relaxed approach to healing and integration, my mentorships are characteristically intense. This is a highly-demanding, high-investment process which requires our consistent combined effort over a period of four months. If we were to start working together, I would reasonably expect you to be excited to show up for a minimum of 10+ hours of self-motivated therapeutic process per week (daily reading, fitness routine, creative exercises, spiritual practice, etc.) while also maintaining full-sobriety (no drink, no drugs). These strict standards of discipline and sobriety are plainly unsuitable for most people in most situations - even genuinely motivated individuals who resonate with this series may not be the right match for four months of structured Inner Work. If you want to get deeper, I've noticed that there's a certain type of ‘temperament' & 'timing’ to get the most out of me. I'm interested in alert, creative and purpose-driven individuals who aspire to exceptional standards of self-maturation and would enjoy the feeling of going through week-on-week of progressively stacked therapeutic experiences for a third of a year: my ideal client is somebody who is willing to bring forward their internal complexity with a sense of courage and transparency with the intention of nothing less than full-spectrum transformation & rapid acceleration on their personal path. I am yet to discover another supportive figure who offers something comparable to this mentorship: a four-month, structured yet flexible 1-1 container which is simultaneously therapeutic, academic and action-oriented; with primary focus placed on tangible improvements in your felt sense of self-knowledge and self-integration; in addition to real-world outcomes based on the personal goals you share with me. I prioritise contact, compassion and accountability, which means that your work never really 'ends' at the end of your session. You can reasonably expect to be fed dozens of customised reading suggestions and follow-on perspectives outside of the formal sessions via messenger contact - where I am active and available four days per week for check-ins and additional support. As way of conclusion for what feels like an extraordinarily long comment, I feel compelled to once more emphasise that working directly with me is unrealistic for most people in most situations. I often support people who are accustomed to professional support after working through previous traumas with other coaches and therapists before we begin our work together. Even individuals without 'hard trauma' can expect moments of pressurised darkness and heaviness during periods of shadow contact as you begin to restructure your personal unconscious. KZfaq is a wonderful place for me to share free research resources and offer accessible inner work invitations; my private sessions, however, are the place for collaborative partnership and emotional security as we identify, navigate and restructure oftentimes confronting and challenging conscious and unconscious physical, emotional and mental material. Ultimately, this is a demanding but highly-rewarding process which requires the best of our shared intentions. ... *SESSION STRUCTURE & FEES:* The total fee for an Inner Work Mentorship (including 12 x 2 hr sessions) is £7,400 GBP or $9,400 USD. Each private session lasts two hours, and is facilitated via Telegram video call at an ideal time for both of us. Your mentorship extends over a linear four-month period, with a total of twenty-four hours of structured session time, in addition to four days per week of unlimited messenger availability for accountability updates, voice note exchanges and additional calls if required. I do not work on Mondays, Tuesdays or Wednesdays, but I am fully-available across all timezones for regular calls and messenger contact on Thursday - Sunday. If you’ve scrolled this far and resonate with what I’m offering, I invite you to message me on Instagram. It would be my pleasure to connect with you and start exchanging voice notes in real-time. IMPORTANT: I work with no more than twenty people per year, and am currently accepting a maximum of two new clients per month. I am not available for Instagram DM therapy or one-off calls. This is my only offer and my pricing is liable to adjustment over time. I respond personally to every message I receive which means it sometimes takes up to four weeks for me to get back to you with full presence. I appreciate your patience with my response and look forwards to learning how I could help you.

When I was younger I thought being a feminist meant being aggressive and strong, to prove I'm just as good as a man in all things, but I created this toxic masculinity within myself and am now relearning how to celebrate and love the feminine parts of who I am... Because it turns out I too believed that soft, delicate things were weak and therefore innately bad... That being feminine was to be a victim. It's hard work to unlearn these ideas. Thanks for the video, it really resonated with me.

A truly important comment - this woman-hating mentality or seeing femininity as weak is tragically common with the hyper-masculinised woman. Truly sad. I’ve guided several women through this healing process, and I’m glad to see you’ve found your centre here too.

Oh, I so relate to you. I am now in the place of learning about my internalized beliefs about femininity/women and how I overcompensate with toxic masculinity (which I have experienced in the men around me). I have many deeply rooted beliefs about femininity not being respectable, strong enough to carry itself (which I have also seen around me). I get triggered about the aura of neediness and wish to be more masculine, because of the ... sense of freedom, strenght and respect I see in it. And then I judge anything remotely feminine about myself out of fear of becoming the same, feeling like men are better, yet... I am not a man, and men are mean. Being stuck somewhere in the middle, not feeling comfortable in either one, and neither is actually healthy. Oh, what a mess, there is a road ahead.

I'm so heartened to hear you say this. True femininity is pretty much my favorite thing in the world. There is definitely a very large scale societal push to villainize femininity as victim, weak, silly, stupid, irrational, etc. And masculinity as abusive, sex-obsessed, aggressive, meat headed, etc. Neither are right. The world will be healed through individuals who meet both their masculine and feminine sides, with women honoring and affirming their femininity and tempering it with some masculine, and the inverse for the men. We need femininity in the world and are starving for it. It's beautiful and takes the breath away. And we need masculine boundaries and goals and the ability to stay steadfast as the emotions

As someone who recently started their “spiritual journey” (such a cliche thing to say), I found your videos so informative and wanted to thank you for creating these well-thought and well-structured content. Compared to other channels who are doing videos on these topics (either too empty so feels like there’s no credibility or too video essay-ish and feels boring) yours are in the happy medium because I feel like I learn a lot yet it still feels personal. I hope you’re well, sending you hugs! ☺

Learn how to be whom we are chasing! I agree! My mother married 5 times,so consequently of course I would be attracted to men who are emotionally unavailable . I began to realized I needed to have a relationship with myself first.I very much agree that we need to become what we want to attract without loosing our feminine essence if we are a woman. Integrating masculine traits can be empowering and useful to our survival. I love it when a man is helpful and I also love to help,I don't feel less a woman.I want to embrace all my strengths and vulnerabilities they are both our teachers. Yes I can experience masculine energy without loosing my feminine. I love your reminders.I hope I understood you correctly, thankyou for reaching out to us! I once had an indescribable dream that featured what I've interpreted as my anima. The parts I can describe is that she was a crystalline goddess; when I check the note of it I made I also noted 'player character' which is very interesting. Also what may be a very important detail is that she didn't have a face.

"But, he won't be everything you're after in terms of that ideal..." It's tragic how so many people have trouble finding and developing healthy romantic relationships. With the right expectations, there's little reason people should be single if they don't want to be. Access to the Internet has given us more reach in finding a partner but less ability to discern the right one. It's become an online shopping experience where people try to "order" the perfect lover(s). They are ultimately disappointed, frustrated, and disheartened when they realize that everyone has flaws and will change over time. The idealization you spoke of is, in large part, the source of their misery. Thanks for another fantastic video! The exercises are super helpful.

I am very glad to have found your channel, thank you. For me as a man i think it took a while to understand that to integrate my anima doesn't take away from my masculinity but instead it enhances it. It is interesting to me that my ideal woman and ideal man, while being diffrent in specific areas, are for the most part very similar. I guess that is the idea that while being in a dualistic relationship each pearson is mostly a integrated being (to be fully with oneself). The Shadow-exercise toppels that whole idyllic idealism over, because those conflicted attraction points cropped up, for example while the ideal for me is for the partner to help me to acualize myself to the most of my capacity, the shadow-interest is to be extremely dependant on one another, kind of to do everything for each other instead of helping the other person to achieve it. I am also interested to know if you have any thoughts and experiences on the animal soul? I think Jung also called it the bush soul. For me it seems very interconnected with the anima as in so far that it also provides the drives for us to take action in the world, but it seems also more archaic and as such more visceral and raw.

Thank you for guiding people to confront these deep topics. I have still a lot to heal in my relationship dynamics or anima and animus. I am in a relationship since summer 2021 with a dad of 3 kids. The relationship I commit feels like meaningful soul connection but I have had a lot moments when I think its not safe and I wanna run a way. My biggest trigger is the mother of his youngest daughter who and his daughter that i never met to this day. It creates in my opinion a double reality when I never meet his ex and the child. I do wanna just trust its for the best as his other ex, mother of other 2 kids says it for the best too. I have very good healthy relationship with the 1st mother. I love his 2 daughters I know very much and this for me is always reason to stay even things get hard. Indeed its very confrontial question to think what is the toxicity I am attracted to? Maybe I am toxic too in some ways I cant see. Chaotic a bit maybe as I am always doing 💯 a day and multitasking a lot also as being mother and freelancer a lot. So back to what toxic traits I am attracted to. It must be addicted kind of man. He has alcohol issues for sure drinking a lot beer every day. Yesterday we were about to enter a local village pub and the pub owner denied his access just because he had not paid 6 euro beer last time. I was a bit wondering why he always ends up upsetting people and testing everyones boundaries. He has really strong personality for sure so he always gets noticed. I was very proud of him when he stop all alcohol for 8 weeks last summer. He is addictive in other ways too watching p*. I have secure attachment style. Sometimes I wish I just had a normal guy who with I can plan things well. Still I am very attracted to this man and he can be very sexy and romantic that i like. Lets see how this will continue. I for sure try to draw healthy boundaries with him and usually focus on good qualities he has. I did wrote 2020 a big dream day text to be fully aware what kind of partner I wanna have. There is a lot missing still from that ideal and I wonder at times if its ever possible for me. My dream guy goes pilgrim with me and I see myself also trekking with him somewhere in Lapland or spending time in Finland more with him as I have a beautiful summer cottage in Finland by the lake. This guy I have for real never wanna leave his village. We do walk around the countryside luckily but he is not wanting to travel unless its some all inclusive luxury resort. I do like packpacking and low budget travels. There is a lot differences. Lets see if we go surfing next summer. I already tested his surfer outfit that fit also to me. I know its a bad habit of mine to always see potential, what can be. My girlfriends usually advice me to focus what actually is currently happening and value things based on true actions a man takes towards me. My guy contacts me every day which is good. I always know he is in his work or in his house with his dog which is nice compared to my cheating travelling ex partner i used to have. I do understand life is not perfect and nobody is perfect.

A soul connection is a resonance between two people who respond to the essential beauty of each other's individual natures, behind their facades, and who connect on this deeper level. This kind of mutual recognition provides the catalyst for a potent alchemy. It is a sacred alliance whose purpose is to help both partners discover and realize their deepest potentials. While a heart connection lets us appreciate those we love just as they are, a soul connection opens up a further dimension -- seeing and loving them for who they could be, and for who we could become under their influence. This means recognizing that we both have an important part to play in helping each other become more fully who we are....A soul connection not only inspires us to expand, but also forces us to confront whatever stands in the way of that expansion.

Here are the Inner Work themes and concerns which I am currently prioritising:* - Trauma Healing & Trauma Release - Parts Work & Subpersonalities - Jungian Psychology & Archetypes - Transpersonal Psychology / Healing - Self Education & Research Suggestions - Masculine / Feminine Dynamics - Addiction, Recovery & Sobriety In the spirit of doing this work together, and extending our genuine concern for others, I invite you to consider phrasing your question to serve on behalf of both yourself and the silent stranger across the ocean who is seeking the exact same answers as you, but might not be willing to get directly involved. We experience our internal worlds independently, but we are remarkably interwoven at our essence. I find this zoom-out awareness connective and comforting, so I naturally welcome your individual perspective while also looking forward to watching this series unfold at the particular intersection between personal circumstances and broader collective challenges. In terms of question boundaries and guidelines, these videos are not an opportunity for long personal essays or indiscriminate trauma dumping. Self-reflective writing is suitable for private journaling, but clearly inappropriate for a public video series. I hope this is obvious, but perhaps worth stating nonetheless. *Question Length: I kindly request that you limit your question to a maximum of two concise sentences.* Important: Comment replies do not show up in my notification box. Please post your question as a new comment on this video, otherwise I will not see your message.

What I find to be interesting within those extreme movements when it comes to the "ideal" man and woman is that it often comes with this notion of "there's only this one way to embody masculinity and/or femininity", while in my personal experience and observation there are quite unique natural balances to be found within the individual. I don't mean the gender distortion and denial ideologies which often seem to be born in trauma loops and self-repression. Though in my observation there are men who in their essence are more naturally receptive and women who in their essence are more so emanating yang energy, which doesnt make them less of a man or a woman either. I feel it often cultivates a lot of internal tension and stress and ultimately an acidic environment when the unique composition of a being is or feels forced to adapt to these quite fixed ideals of what masculinity or femininity is "supposed to be." I find it beautiful when we contribute more towards these elements within us going into cooperation, instead of feeding the split, though in order to do that I feel it can be helpful to stop holding one another in these frames of what is "ideal" or "how a man and woman has to be," otherwise there's no truthful meeting in the key and only battles of molding one another so to say. I'm thankful for your videos, as they help me with integration and I feel them to be quite empowering.❤ On a more personal note, as a man, I find it interesting that in my case I often relate more so to themes that adress the feminine, when it comes to relationships in the past I often attracted more so emotionally unavailable women who had a hard time opening up and talking about their feelings and were quite disconnected from their bodies, they also embodied some masculine traits that I had abandoned/never learned to integrate myself I would say. What is your observation when it comes to this theme playing out for men? In relation to what I talked about before I wonder if all this "having to become more like this or that" can sometimes even be in the way of just embodying our nature and the unique energy composition we are in within this human form? When I tap into the moments of feeling the most "whole", then there hasn't been any judgments of "too masculine" or "too feminine", neither within myself nor in my surroundings and more so an acceptance of the present nature. I'd be curious about your perception regarding this. Thank you for what you're doing, very inspiring!

I really love your videos, and even though you said you didn't cover all the topics, which I appereciate as a watcher, still the things you didn't mention which are important about us women, are the intelligence and sharpness we share, and also the emotional intelligence we have. Sharpness is not a masculine trait, it's a human trait, that both men and women have. So does intelligence, even if feminine intelligence is expressed differently, maybe as a softer, more yielding one, like water. A lot of women don't go to the more nurturing job position, because it's not their passion, but ARE more nurturing in their approach, their relationships and their romantic relationship, maybe even unintentionally. And perhaps it's expressed through their motherhood.

Having worked with both gay men and gay women, there is a lot for me to share on this. I think this deserves a full video, so I'll film something and release it within a month. In the meantime, I can't speak to your personal energetics in a public comment but the general trend is that sexual preference doesn't outweigh the biological imperative of choosing to centre in our 'native energy' (feminine woman and masculine man) - there is an incredible degree of nuance, and we should all be aiming to integrate both sets of energies in appropriate balance but I'll need 20-30 minutes to unpack this!

Great video, your exercises are really interesting. My Anima was the character I found the most during active imagination. She had skin and hair white as snow, purple vivid eyes, a very delicate and angelically beautiful appearance, and a mail armor with a valkyrie like helmet. She appeared, at the first time, at a snowy place in the middle of the night below the moon. And we would always talk about our Dreams when we met... We both have Dreams, true grear goals that are as valuable as out lifes, and we both chase it with all the strenght of our wills, but our take on that is a little different. Her take is more emotional, her emotional connection with her Dream is ever bigger than mine, and this can bring an even stronger sentiment of hope, but, at the same time, can turn into obsession more easly. Those active imaginations were always deeply interesting.

Strong. Stable. I find a hiding place in the park And bury myself in the roots, crying Aching for you Aching for the tree to hold me back Purging this pain into the silence Tears hot against my face Ear pressed against the trunk Listening Closely Yearning so much for it. Softening. Soundless. Safety.

I love revelation you make which is the person are seeking in the opposite sex is ideally what you need to work on in yourself. Regarding the emotionally turbulent woman, there will be phases in life where challenges can make people moody, but isn't that part of life and natural? As a partner, yes it can take some energy and time from you as you help, but isn't showing up during the ups and "downs' also important? Maybe the other learning here could be, how do you maintain your energy levels around people regardless of who they are.

@@jordanthornton I also want to share a specific observation of exactly how much you are helping people. Just these last several weeks or months of stumbling on your videos, and in the course of me commenting and you responding, I noticed it made me feel very seen (and I added it to my "list" lol). I noticed you do this for everyone who comments, all total strangers but you devote several moments of mindfulness and caring to each one. This is how I was when I was a nurse and everyone told me I shouldn't because it took too much time and would burn me out (which it did but in combination with many other dynamics) but I'm ok with that because I did it my way, with my whole heart. And that's what I see you doing and it's nice because I can tell you also try to give yourself the support this work requires. So that's the larger arc of the ripple effect I see, and on a more personal note feeling seen (and other work I've been doing on myself) made me finally start acting a little differently and nearly every male in my life has been responding differently to that in turn. So there's a whole ramble rather than just a general thank you. 😂

When you started listing quality's a person is looking for in a partner, my first thoughts were someone I can be goofy, relaxed, play with, but also someone that can hold space for my big emotions and stay when I'm not perfect (abandonmentis my biggest truama), Someone consistent and holds their word. So if i understand correctly, those are the parts of me I need to imbrace? Fully allow myself to be goofy, playful and hold space for my deep emotions? Stay with myself through my mistakes (stop self abandonment) And start seeing where I'm being inconsistent in my own life and not keeping my word with myself? And through this it will help me incorporate my masculine and feminine energy?
@jordanthornton

You’ve got this - I also see all these traits as an expression of wanting safety & comfort. It’s being with someone who you would feel truly safe to ‘be yourself with’ - so yes, goofy and fun but also the work of feeling safe inside your own body. All will help, and I wish you the absolute best.

@Jordan Thornton thank you so much for answering my question. This is so far the best explanation of the Anima/Animus within, especially 07:48 was my aha moment. A lifelong search for the ideal partner, repetitive disappointments of 'different person-same object', projecting animus to the new person we seem to be so infatuated in the early stages, finally turning inwards and finding the holy grail within. This is the point I am currently in which comes with isolation and awareness of the dark side I want to work on and integrate. Amazing insight, much appreciated! Follow up question if you have the time: I feel like I am quite feminine when it comes to appearance but very masculine in competitiveness, knowledge, success, where to start to have a less rigid and more fluid state, mind and attitute?
@jordanthornton

Great to see you comment on this video, have been anticipating you! Pleased to have provided something valuable here, although I don't think I'll be able to answer your follow up I'm afraid. To provide some guidance in a comment, it's about appropriate context. Competitive in terms of sport and healthy self-competition to create better art, for example, are wonderful. Competitive against a romantic partner or friend is more of an immature masculine trait. Simplifying a complex topic here, but my invitation is to find appropriate context and challenge potential areas of immature expression to find that balance for your unique blend. Hope this helps!

Awesome video! Thanks for making this information relevant and practical. I tried reading some of Carl Jung's work on Anima/Animus some months ago and found it convoluted. I tried doing a video this week but I had too many interruptions to my flow. I ended up deleting it
@jordanthornton

I likewise come to the same conclusions about ‘most people’ not needing to read Jung to do significant Jungian therapy - which is almost taboo. In terms of video planning, I tend to spend my first 2-3 hours working on purely the title and thumbnail combination which involves reducing my knowledge base to its essence - condensing process. I’ll then typically script the first two sentences to make a powerful hook and have bullet points for the rest of the video which I read once before flowing into whatever arises - sometimes have a quote to share after reviewing a relevant book! Main process is the title & thumbnail and the attempted reduction into 20 minutes of digestible theory hahah Lots of walking & thinking on issues too - usually walk on a video at least once for 30-60 mins and let momentum carry the thought! Love this question, Amy 🌲

I have seen many times the Anima/Animus being defined as our connection to meaning an to our unconscious. But I have, many times as well, seen your definition of the ideal feminine (or some similar one). This topic has been higly confusing for me because of that. I have already seen my Anima in active imagination, I know how she is and how she behaves, but I don't know how to interpret her place on my psique because I don't know what Anima is, I just know how my Anima behaves and how she is. And the fact that Jung gave to us a very good definition of each part of the psique BUT the Anima doesn't help, I read and read and doesn't matter how much I read I just get more confused about this topic... And whenever I think I have reached some conclusion another information appears to confuse me again. Can you help me with that? Can you please clarify your final statement about the two halves coming together? Are you intending that we are halves and only become whole when we come together with a partner? I hope to have misunderstood this
@jordanthornton
@jordanthornton Жыл бұрын
Not exactly. Humanity requires both men and women to work in partnership - this means more than the literal romantic sense, although the vast majority of people will be at their healthiest when they are pair-bonded with someone of the opposite sex (can also be deep friendship) 🌲

@@jordanthornton How does this apply to lesbian and gay relationships? Does having both masculinity and femininity integrated into both parties suffice to be, as you say, at their healthiest, or would it still be more beneficial to also have a deep friendship with someone of the opposite sex?
@CarmenNevada
@CarmenNevada 11 ай бұрын
@@emgunnie6210 Don't wanna be speaking for Jordan here but I'm pretty sure having integrated your masculine and feminine in a healthy degree manifests in having friendships/relationships with the opposite sex naturally. Most gay men have a close friendship with at least one woman, could even be their mother, and lesbians love their male (most of the times gay) friends. It's just that they don't go for it in a romantic sense, but lesbians and gays are still pair bonded with someone of the opposite sex within their close friendships. It could even be a therapist, life coach, personal trainer, mentor etc. type of bond that is transaction based but still brings the feminine and the masculine together in some way. All hell just breaks loose when men and women completely eradicate the opposite sex from their lives, I think that's what Jordan means anyways.

I viewed a few videos and happen to read your one on one requirements on this stream as a matter of fact. I respect your honesty especially with the sizable fee. Is it a coincidence that you do a video on the dangers of unrealistic list of an ideal partner and in comparison to your ideal student are quite one in the same and maybe why you have been unsuccessful? Here I come at you with phenomena to work with and not at all intrigued. Btw, if your ideal perfect compatable student existed would she need your help or be viewing these videos? Would there exist such a person to pay that fee?

@@rlanetta9767 Appreciate your question, and understand your direction. I find that clear standards work well for 1-1 considerations in a mutual four-month experience. I have the repeated pleasure to work with many people who meet my 'ideal standards' - which are high, but not unattainable. Ideal clients are hard to find, and I'm pleased to be at the stage in my practice where I choose to be more selective so I can show up at my peak and serve at my best - clients make themselves known from across the world. It's kinda funny 🤔 we definitely had a lot more toxic masculinity before accepting more that we feel mostly male 😅 We couldn't dance, wear colorful clothes, had a very hard time showing emotions or being caring towards other people. Now that we've been socially transitioning for a while and our friends all call us he/ Max, we've felt a lot more comfortable with our own softer aspects. What we're attracted to: Sadism and dominance paired with high intelligence, basically dad 😂

It is normal for it to be reversed regardless of sex? Im a man, but the way you explained this sounds the opposite. I've been the emotionally turbulent/unpredictable one, and in terms of the toxic women I feel attracted to, it has always been the emotionally unavailable ones who are out of touch with their emotions. Cultivating my masculine side has been a godsend in my emotional maturity and stability, but it just gets me wondering, is what was unconscious my Animus? It confuses my when it comes to this topic, I've always more consciously resonated with the characteristics of the Anima, I've always seemed extroverted women who can be my sort of "container" per say, but that's always attributed to women. Could I simply say that I still have an unconscious Anima, but it's sort of like a "masculine" Anima, since those are the kind of traits I find ideal in a women?
