Honestly forgot bunny day was coming up and when the day changed over and I saw Zipper I audibly groaned. I was there for eggpocalypse. I've gotten all the items. I don't want to do it. It feels like a cruel prank when I just need some normal materials and instead it's eggs. It's always eggs. I'm glad some people are still looking forward to it. I'll just use this time to do some time traveling then reset to normal time when it's over.

I voiced my disgust of Bunny Day when they pulled an April Fool's crap of said hated event being extended as a joke on Animal Crossing World & got egged to death on downvote city. Never again... I will always hate that freaky bunny guy.

I'm hyped! Bunny Day is nostalgic for me in reminding me of experiencing the game for the first time. It helps that I'm not desperately filling my Critterpedia anymore, so I don't mind catching eggs instead of fish.

@@savanahculbertson5240 eggageddon, the spawn rates of the eggs were so high you couldn't find anything else, so any recreational activities during that time were out of the question. (deep sea eggs weren't a thing yet)

Yeah I kinda had the same issue with sky eggs until Quinn came up to me and gave me 5 of them As for the water eggs, when I was checking in on my island for the day, Drake gave me 5 of them *first thing* and after checking everyone else I went to talk to Zipper and he gave me *another 10 water eggs!* All on the first day of the lead-up to Bunny Day '24 (2nd time celebrating cuz I started playing in August 2022)

I already time traveled so many days, then I went skipping to August this year. I may go back to torture myself with Zipper's Hopping Egg Invasion (and depression) or I just won't bother, 2020 left a bad taste in my mouth. EGGS... EGGS EVERYWHERE!!! MAKE IT STOP!

They wasted the opportunity to add more things. Like in the promotion tab of the Nook app they could have added easter dishes from around the world, like Pane Di Pasqua which is a Italian sweet bread from with eggs on it. There are so many Easter recipes but yet you can't find so much of them on KZfaq as much as you can with Christmas meals.

There are a couple different sites online where, if you put in as much accurate info as possible about the game file you are currently using, ex weather patterns, turnip prices, and who visits on what day, it will try to calculate which possible game seed you have, and they can be pretty accurate! Using that you can predict the weather, when meteor and major meteor showers will happen, the potential price range for turnips, all that!

For me this year (2024 and FYI I've started playing on a new island mid-August 2022), It was the other way round where I felt slightly disappointed that I dug up a fossil accidentally whilst looking for earth eggs as I'm now barely finding any new fossils as I'm just about done with me collecting creatures/fossils for the museum (I'm almost complete anyway so I only collect them occasionally so Blathers can assess them and, inevitably, me selling the dupes at Nook's Cranny - I won't bother with the art). Sorry if this is so long I just felt like experience dumping 🙃

Honestly haven't been excited for bunny day since most of the themed furniture for it became bland compared to New Leaf. Sure, New Leaf's set was still heavily egg themed stuff, but better egg themed stuff. I'd like New Horizon's a bit more if they could be customized to be themed after a different egg or be rainbow eggs.

I'm SO GLAD the Bunny Day festivities don't take over the cherry blossom season. It felt like hell when I tried getting all DIYs in 2021 (I did get them all however). Haven't done the event on my second island yet so I'm looking forward to it.
