The shovel doesn't break. I dig the stumps up. For me it's easier. If you complete the maze twice, you also get rovers picture.

I had to look up how to restart. Use your phone, it will cost 100 miles i believe, then it restarts the maze. I kept asking the useless Dodo 😂 for hints. Nothing. Otherwise this video is great.
