I really think is the memories that count in Toy Day and Christmas seeing Friends and Family and ...well Villagers be happy and smile its the best plus its about giving not receiving,and this animation was the best,they rhyme amazingly and has a special feel to it .

That video was beautiful. Excellent work, Mr. Charles. PS: About giving the wrong presents to your villagers, you can avoid this by talking to them several times until they tell you what they want and make a list of each of their gifts. That's what I always did.

I don't have a personal story for this one, but Christmas is about fun. It's all about the merry spirit, and keeping those fireplaces lit. Anyway, merry christmas to everyone, but don't do any funny buisness. Man, rhyming is harder than it looks, good thing I read a few books. OH I'M ON A ROLL! Good thing I didn't get coal. 'Twas a very grand video. :D Also, I took off the beard in front of one of my villagers and they hadn't noticed that I'd just taken something off. They thought Santa had left and I'd took his place. XD The funny part is that, I wore the full Santa outfit the day after, and they recognised that it was me and not Santa.

Hey Charles, love your work. I just have a question. I've been trying to have my own style of animation/drawing for a while now, but can't seem to come up with anything that looks nice. I definitely don't want to copy anyone. Did you find your style just by practicing?

Thanks! And in all honesty, I think it's fine to start of mimicking an art style that you like. A lot of animators I've seen on KZfaq started off with a similar feel to Adventure Time's art style. And when I go back to those channels now, (after time passed) they've modified their art styles to something that's different from it and something they're more comfortable with drawing. As for me, my style been inspired from a bunch of anime that I watched and I'm still trying to changing up little by little each video. In short, don't be afraid to start off your style by mimicking an one that you like, take it as inspiration if anything! Then soon enough with practice, you'll modify/change it to something you're comfortable with and satisfied with and you'll be drawing/animating in your very own style!

Great Charles, I don't even know how you can improve yourself much more! The ryhmes fit in so well and the narration was good. Maybe you should have spoken a little deeper at the "Santa Charles" parts, not sure, did you try that? Now to Pick Your Poison..: I'm picking memories, no doubt, Yes presents are nice and all, but they don't stay that long.
