Prepare to catch jungle fever this half term as ANIMAL KINGDOM:
LET’S GO APE brings breathtaking, imaginative animation to cinemas across the country from October 23, 2015, courtesy of Signature Entertainment.
Two million years ago, deep in the Savannah desert lives Edward, the eldest son of a primate king. At birth Edward is considered too small and puny for his tough tribe and is sent away to be brought up in secret. But as he grows up he realises he is no ordinary ape...
It’s not long before Edward discovers fire (well, someone had to!), hunting, modern living, love and even... hope. As generous as he is advanced, Edward wants to share everything, revolutionise the established order and bring his people bang up to date - with hilarious results as the rest of the primates try to get to grips with a new way of doing things!
So be prepared for a rumble in the jungle this half term as the primates begin to realise that evolution isn’t complete monkey business after all!

I first heard of this movie in Wikipedia but I never watched it. This movie have an interesting concept but it was wasted by uncanny characters, bad voice acting and a unpredictable story.

-sigh- Y'know what's sad? The symbolism, cinematography & music in the last minute of this scene is gorgeous. The imagery of time passing with so much progress going on in the distance while that ape brother sits there completely static, immovable, unchanging? That says a LOT without words. Not just that, but the fact that, after so long of staying in one place, where does he end up? Going backwards, retreating from the progress he sees, refusing to develop or grow. It's thick with atmosphere which is so tragically brief. The movie has a solid idea for a plot. But sadly, it just went nowhere.

Right near the end with the older brother and his mate if everyone was like that and not so energized and just spazzing like how they are throughout most of the movie he would almost look lovely like a painting but needs a little more detail and a bit more imperfections to make it more realistic
