Fun fact: The Smilodon’s large canine teeth weren’t actually used for biting into prey. These canines are around the size of a banana, but actually quite loose. Any amount of pressure from biting would’ve resulted in these teeth coming out.

Just saying you missed an animal, the crested gecko Crested Gecko following its discovery in 1866, the crested gecko went AWOL for many decades and was believed to be extinct until it was found in 1994 on the Isle of Pines in New Caledonia by German herpetologists, according to National Geographic.

Animals can’t come back from extinction unless you use the process of selection. Therefore, they probably never went extinct, so they were probably just very well hidden.

Coelacanth is pronounced as See-luh-kanth. According to science all of these other creatures were extinct too, so what makes sparse sightings of mammoth in a harsh, sparsely populated region of the world so easy to write off?

Whilst yes they are wonderful animals if they are extinct we should not being them back they went extinct almost 100 years ago they would not be able to navigate today's world with so many cars and roads they would not be able to survive

Well they will obviously be kept in containment, and on top that they where only dangerous due to a large lack of technology. They would not be nearly as lethal even if they did escape.
