Spot on! Eland and Greater Kudu, in addition to the list in this video. I will say that I am disappointed to not see hyena in the first Africa map. It seems weird to see lions and no hyenas. Scarecrow's list is great with your two additions and I'd say the elephant idea is fantastic. I think if they do leopards, they should be able to be in trees as well as ground. They are smaller than lions, but that would add an extra danger from above.

Im also from South Africa, I'd say more of a mara area map, This way you could have all the above mentioned in your video as well as nile crock, Giraffe,hippo, ostrich, sable, maybe some greater kudu, Then smaller animals: Guineafowl, water monitor, white face ducks, bush pigs and vultures. Love your content

one thing that i want in COTW is a south american map, the one we have is a hunting reserve but what i want is a reserve with animals from south america, it could be in the amazon forest, on the pantanal, there are so many species that would be great to hunt like monkeys, capibara, birds, giant anteaters

Well laid out, elephants and elands definitely and love the plains game. The zebras would be hard to model to tell them apart, but im ready for the challenge. For sure need a larger rifle. Liked all the critters you laid out. Great video as always mr crow.

Im all for Africa 2.0, but I feel like SOUTH AFRICA specifically would essentially be making a VURHONGA 2.0 Vurhonga Savanna takes place in Botswana which is almost identical in terms of biodiversity for species we want, so in theory all of the animals mentioned in this video could just be added to Vurhonga in a backlog update. If an Africa 2.0 map is to be released, I'm imagining EASTERN AFRICA (like Tanzania or Kenya) would probs be a more sensible location focus because all of the animals mentioned & requested by the community are also found there (many in higher abundance than south africa/ southern africa overall) plus we could see a ton of more unique species (for example Giant Forest Hogs, the largest wild Pigs in the world at over 750lbs and tons of exotic Antelope species) in a climate/ setting far different than Vurhonga (they could set a map like this in a more sub-tropical, highland or woodland setting as opposed to exclusively grassland). Kinda ranty but im just really passionate abt the topic :) Keep up the awesome content Crow!

*side note about species - I think that some of the species that would be considered ethical/practical species that scratch the community's exotic African animal itch would include: - Greater Kudu, Nile Crocodile, Spotted Hyena, Sable Antelope, Common Eland, Nyala, Impala, African Leopard, Common Ostrich, Plains Zebra, Black Wildebeest, and Olive Baboon (Based on what I'm seeing in the video, these comments and what I've heard from other members of the community) - Elephants and Hippos are a HUGE maybe. It's possible, but hunting both is heavily frowned upon and would require a total rework of the class system and underwater locomotion mechanics that the game currently has (because hippos can't swim, but walk on the bottom of the water which might be a problem). Plus they're enormous so we'd need totally new weapons to take them with. -IT IS ILLEGAL TO KILL GIRAFFES, RHINOS, GORILLAS, CHEETAHS AND WILD DOGS! People still do it, but in all of the countries where these animals are found they are federally protected (though there is some wiggle room with Giraffes)

@@liamsstudio_44 Ny basis for this claim is literally from the missions (I swear I heard Njabulo [the main reserve warden] talk about Botswana) but I don't think they specify where exactly Vurhonga is (plus the dialect used for a lot of vurhonga's locations & landmarks is spoken in both southeastern Botswana and northeastern South Africa so that complicates it further lol). Even if it takes place in the drakensburg range can we really expect theHunter COTW to have 2 South African reserves?

@@averygriffith3156 yes… The Drakensburg Range is wildly different than say…western South Africa, more inline with Namibia, or there’s central SA, which is much more in tune with classic Africa, and very well could be set on the Limpopo river (perfect for crocs).

As for tags for Elephants, it reminds me of the 2020 video game Hunting Simulator 2. Yes, the game isn't the best, but it does have one realistic aspect that I actually appreciate. It has tags for all the animal species in it. Each animal species have a certain number of tags for it (the small animals have 10 tags, the medium animals have 5 tags, the large animals have three tags, and the very large animals only have 1 tag). Once you use up the tags, you need to buy them again in order to hunt the animals.

I thought that the African map was one of the most highly wanted maps other than an Asian one. My ideal map would have some awesome antelope species, like greater kudu, eland, nyala, bongo, etc. For predators, I’d definitely like to see leopard and hyena.

I shot an Eland in South Africa in 2018. I do not know if the first cat species you mention is in South Africa, as I have not heard of that one. I do not know if Elephants are in South Africa either. To my knowledge, my friend who owns a safari in South Africa has to go to the Free States to shoot Elephant. I would like to see them add the Greater Kudu, as we already have the Lesser. Additionally, the Greater Kudu, Eland and Nyala make up 3/4 of the spiral slam. If they also added the Bushbuck, it would complete the spiral slam. I think it would be pretty cool to have a Spiral slam multi mount in my trophy lodge.

I live in South Africa and have been hunting for a a few years only, but it would be great if EW could change the pace with a South African map. What I mean by that is to soft ban or disable tents everywhere,(having tent or camp sites) in South Africa walking and stalking game is how one would do it or in a blind (more bow hunting). Like just to shoot a wilde bees, rooi bok and more common animals should be celebrated and hard to do. Blesbok, eiland, kudu, rooi hartebees, wildebees, rooi bok, swart wit pens(sable), warthogs, baboons, ystervark, lion, cheetah, leopard, giraffe, hippo. I love the money tag idea for large and special trophies. It would be great to see that the rarity in real life correlates to the game and time put in. Much love.

I really wish Zebras to be added to either a new Africa map or added to the current one It would probably also have females make diamonds There could be all sorts of rares; albino, Leuci, mela, maybe even two or three variations of piebald A lot is possible with such pattern and I'd grind for weeks straight to get all variations

The 700 nitro would be cool but the reality is that the 600 and 700 nitros are rarely, if ever, actually used for hunting. The 450/400 nitro, 470 nitro, and 500 nitro are the most commonly used double nitro express cartridges. A much more realistic idea would be adding in cartridges like 9.3×62, 375H&H, 416 Remington, and the 458 winchester magnum. It would add a bit more realism to hunting dangerous game like lions and cape buffalo as well considering that hunting them with anything smaller would be illegal in most african countries.

I've been wanting to see an Africa map with Elephants, Rhinos, Hippos, Crocodiles, Zebras, Giraffes, etc. for a very long time. When the Africa reserve for Way of the Hunter (Tikamoon Plains) was being released, I fully expected it to have at least one of the aforementioned animals on that map, BUT THEY COMPLETELY BLEW IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! If anybody knows (key word: knows) why the devs did not add any of those animals to Tikamoon Plains, please let me know. As for Ultimate Hunting, we know that it has proudly accepted the challenge of adding all the aforementioned animals (minus the Rhino) to Southern Africa Hunting Reserve, but that game hasn't been released yet. I've been waiting so long for an Africa map with Elephants, Rhinos, Hippos, Giraffes, Crocodiles, Zebras, etc. for a very long time, and I can't wait any longer.

If a South Africa map doesnt have Greater Kudu and Impala it shouldnt be added at all, bit extreme but theyre that important. Ultimately a realistic animal list is in the region if the 30's. Idk maybe im a very demanding South African

Too many options to choose from, apart from what you've mentioned we also need Greater Kudu, Giraffe, Hippo, Nile Crocodile, Sable Antelope, Blesbuck, Black-Wildebeest, Red Hartebees, Springhare, Rock Hyrax, Vervet Monkey, Baboon, Steenbok and the list goes on. We also definitely need proper African birds. Helemted Guineafowl, Ostrich, Francolins and Spurfowls, Egyptian and Spur-Winged Goose, Knob-billed Duck, White-faced Whistling-Duck Speckled Pigeon, Hadeda Ibis, are all options and way better than Eurasian Wigeon. There are too many species for only 2 Africa maps. We need so much more. And there are so much more the further north you go.

If they add africa 2.0, id love to see, meerkats, honey badgers, and mongooses as some class 1 animals. Painted wolf/ hunting dog, and hyenas as a class 3 and 4. greater kudu would be incredible as a class 6 or 7, along with a great one lion. And if they would make the lodges bigger to fit elephants, they may aswell add hippopotamus and nile crocodile as some other class 9s. If EW looks at this and takes it in, that would be incredible.

The best thing call of the wild team could do would be get in touch with professional hunters from Africa. Unfortunately the current Africa map is great but the hunting methods are unrealistic. And some of the stuff you’ve gone through in the video is not correct. As said the best thing to do would be to get help from a professional hunter from Africa and then follow his advice

Yeah they'd totally have to redo the class system if they're gonna add them, any animal that's about 10x heavier than an American Bison [African Bush Elephants can be up to 24,000lbs] are gonna need its own class and a whole lot more firepower!

Elephants, hippos, black wildebeest, sable, roan, and zebras. And remind the makers they are herd animals not group animals so there should be more than 5 or 6 to a "herd".

I'd love to see a giraffe in cotw. Just imagine hunting it. It should be a class 10 animal imo and it wwould need a new bigger lodge

What about spotted hyena, Nile crocodile, hippopotamus, greater kudu, Guinea fowl, Egyptian goose, honey badger, sable antelope and baboon along with the other African animals that you're telling us about?

Originally I was going to say a 4-bore or a 5707 tyrannosaur but that's just kind of pushing it because the 577 tyrannosaurus basically the same weight 750grs as a 50 BMG is Way beyond the biggest bolt gun in the entire game if they had that but I would imagine using the 4-bore as a stopping rifle so if you shoot that elephant and you shoot it again and it doesn't want to stop you can always use the 4-bore to stop that elephant dead in its tracks
