From my own experiences, I know that harboring resentment is detrimental to my well-being, hence, it's crucial for me to learn to forgive those who've caused me harm. Edward clarified that he does not harbor hatred for his bullies to the extent of obsessing over them. However, the mere thought of the incident still upsets him. I can empathize with how distressing it must be to see one's perpetrators frequently appearing on television. Those who've experienced trauma often strive to forget their painful past, with some even developing dissociative amnesia, a defense mechanism wherein their brain literally erases the traumatic event. Therefore, when critics claim that victims calling out their perpetrators years later are simply unable to forgive, I don't believe this is always the case. Perhaps some victims, like Moon Dong-eun from The Glory, struggle with forgiveness, but others simply wish to forget and move on with their lives. As Edward concluded, there isn't a definitive answer regarding the course of action former bullies should adopt if they aspire to be public figures. My wish, however, is that all victims find peace of mind and healing. I must say, I didn't anticipate that this podcast would delve into such a profound, albeit somber topic. It was a somewhat dark exploration, but undoubtedly eye-opening. Keep up the excellent work!

Things like this, when you're an outsider/not involved in it, put a shelf-life on how long they think you should be affected by something. Edward even said it in the video -- that he remembers the event still, shows that it's still quite traumatic. But a lot of people are like: well two weeks have past/a month has gone by, have ya gotten over it yet? And especially when it's trauma when you're young, it can be VERY difficult to get over that because those years are so important and formulative to your experience

The anime you were talking about is actually one of my favorites it's called chobits it use to be on Netflix along time ago and then a similar to one time that is hevens lost property which is another one but with bad ass angles ughhhh love those animes❤☺️

Bullying is horrible and tbh I would be concerned of those who were bullies because they crossed a civilization boundary as kids and could have turned into sociopaths. Also, trauma is never remembered by those who inflict the trauma because they don't repress emotions through the experience, they actually release anger and aggressiveness with pleasure, but those who suffer the violence, they don't elaborate nor understand and end up repressing the painful emotion turning it to trauma, hence why trauma is a recurring memory for the victims and easily forgettable for perpetrators, unless they actively look for momentos they were wrong and really grow us a person later and rethink of how they treated others throughout their pasts...
