This is the complete Anime Boston 2014 Cosplay Human Chess Match. I've had to remove the audio from one fight scene due to copyright claims, but other than that all should be well.

izzydoodles It looked amazing backstage, and I'm glad to see it looked even better to the audience. We have the rubber board to help soften some of the fall damage every year, and this is the first time we've had such a wonderfully choreographed dance before. I am so glad you and your sister did this, and even gladder no one gothurt from dancing in point on the mat.

This is really cool, but I'm screaming at the computer for the idiotic chess moves. This is amazing, don't get me wrong, but seriously! Get someone who can ACTUALLY play!!!!! You could have still ended it in a stalemate with people who know how to play!!!

All the moves were planned before hand. I believe the point was to have the most interesting match ups, not to play a proper game of chess.

NorfKhazad You are correct sir. But I'm still hoping to see Sailor Mercury and Radical Edward as players, as they both are known to be good at the game. (The year that it was Magic VS Science I was really hoping it would be the two of them against each other. Instead it was Link VS Professor Oak)

Characters I think would be cool would like to see in 2015: Negi Springfield, Sayaka Miki or Mami Tomoe, Lelouch, Levi Ackerman or Eren Jaeger, Colossal Titan, Simon or Kamina or Yoko, Shinku or Suigintou, Monobear, someone from Terra Formars, and someone from Kancolle.

The only thing I could do is take the video down, edit out the song that's allowing a copyright holder to block it in your country, and re-upload it. That's a pretty major pain in the ass though, so I'm afraid I won't be doing that. I'm sorry.

One thing I don't understand. If the moves are planned beforehand (I think they are, at least) why bother with an actual chess board with the player-people?

Red5941 It helps them keep track of what's going on, plus they're supposed to be actually playing the game, so it makes sense that they would be using a chess board.
