Well here’s even more interesting fact about that. The reason why a bunch of animes have that trend is because in ancient Japan time samurais would always yell out their names whenever they get into a fight and they’re full titles. They did this because it’s hard to cash in your bounty or prove that you killed someone when you don’t even know the persons name. so essentially yelling out your name and attack moves is an ancient form of dog tags in the middle of a battle XD

I cannot explain how accurate the anime intro/Outro meme is. The Yu-Gi-Oh intros and outros are all amazing, but they have different tones. The Yugioh gx season one intro and outro as well, but they both had a party sort of vibe. The intro was like high school rock, and the outro sounded like spectronizer to me. I don’t remember the artist for spectronizer, but it’s from just dance 3 or 4.

There are actually animes where yelling your attack moves DOES make it stronger, hell in the fate franchise, it is required to do so or it'll not work

In JoJo, the main aspect of the battle is that you have to figure out your opponent's powers. In JJK and Bleach, it's opposite, explaining your power and yelling it's name, makes it stronger.

@@timmyjoshua276 Actually, yelling out your Technique's name or your own name is a Japanese tradition. I just mentioned that these three actually thought of properly making it a part of thier Power System. Though I didn't mentioned in my comment but Fate has similar scene where True Name Invocation increase power but also the chance of your self getting countered.

Actually, if you see someone who dislikes anime, just leave them alone, or agree with them as a joke. As a person who doesnt interest in anime, it gets annoying when someone keeps telling me to watch anime this and that. They (people like me) simply dont understand the concept of it Some people can be offensive and call you a fking weeb, a failure for loving anime if you continue saying
