عثمان ریاض بھی انھی نوجوانوں میں سے ہیں جو اینیمیٹڈ فلمیں دیکھتے ہوئے بڑے ہوئے ہیں لیکن عثمان اینیمیٹڈ فلمیں صرف دیکھنا ہی نہیں بلکہ خود بنانا بھی چاہتے تھے۔ پاکستان میں ایسا پلیٹ فارم نہ ہونے کے باوجود اب وہ اپنا خواب پورا کرنے کے لیے ہاتھ سے تصویر کشی کی گئی پاکستان کی پہلی اینیمیٹڈ فیچر فلم بنا رہے ہیں۔

When Usman choked up thinking about the extraordinary nature of Ghibli movies, you can feel the emotions. The gentle piano & the animation is gorgeous. I have respect for him and his studio for their commitment to this project and love for anime. So much respect. ❤️ 11:20pm 1.4.2024

Ahhh I loved his interview soo much, especially the starting. He starts playing the piano and then goes “ugh” even if sounds soo beautiful. He starts giving his introduction and then goes, “yeh bohat burah intro hai sorry sorry.“ You can really tell he’s a perfectionist. I never really knew the whole story behind his studio, the struggles, what finally inspired/motivated him to start his own studio, etc so I really enjoyed watching it. Also I really loved how towards the end he said, that it’s okay for people to turn down his ideas, after all it’s his passion and no body can ever be as passionate about his studio as he is. Really inspirational. Now I am even more excited for his movie, and I think even if turns out to be mediocre, I would still love it.

wah bhai wah. kia baat hai! dil khush kar diya mere bhai ne. i'm a huge fan of anime but in pakistan ppl dont even know what anime is; they think it's kid's cartoons. lol. humari industry ko SIRF AUR SIRF anime hi bacha sakta hai kyunke humare pas live-action ka hi-fi budget nai hota plus censorship ka bhi masla hai BUT anime in dono problems se azad hai!!!
