The things I love in AoT is no one is Hero here.... Their mindset was like normal people that they didn't want to save the world or something else... Eren just wanted to save his friends and birthplace

Eren is the mastermind of what are we watching in whole AOT series ....

So in order to avoid any confusion regarding the time travel mechanics, I will break down what type of Time travel we're dealing with here. AOT operates by a particular type of time travel where it's almost impossible to change the past even if you somehow go back in time. And any change that you tried to cause was always meant to happen in the overall timeline. Here time is a fixed circle, not a stream. We may see Eren meddle in the past but that was always meant to happen. This calls into the question of the existence of free will in the world of Attack of Titan. The Attack Titan's ability is to receive the memories of its future inheritors. This was hinted when Kruger mentioned Mikasa and Armin towards the end of S3. Keep in mind, they can only view these memories but can't interact with them. So how was Eren able to meddle in the past? Well, he had 3 perfect conditions: 1. ⁠He had the ability of the Attack Titan 2. ⁠The ability of the Founding Titan 3. ⁠He was also in contact with someone with royal blood AKA Zeke. After Zeke tapped Eren's head, they were able to view Grisha's past memories with Eren using the power of the coordinate. They were freely able to view the past as if it were through a one way mirror. Now if Eren had any other Titan other than the Attack Titan, he would only be able to look. But since Attack Titan can see forward in time, Grisha can use this to see Eren's recollection of the same event that he's currently experiencing in real time. So this mean that whenever Grisha can see or hear Eren, he's actually recieving a brief future memory from Eren's POV where he can see out of his eyes and hear his words. That means he is seeing himself from a 3rd perspective. Then if he responds, his response is simply part of the memory that Eren/Zeke are viewing, allowing for a two way communication through time. Also Note that everytime, Grisha sees Zeke, Eren is always standing behind his dad. So whenever Grisha sees Zeke, it is from actually due to the memories from Eren's POV - not my original comment

Grisha was able to see Zeke only when eren was standing behind him that is when Eren's eyes could see Zeke, this shows Grisha could see Eren's memories and could not time travel.

I have read the manga and I was a full-fledged yeagerist at the time I was reading it. But tbh, experiencing the story and scenarios again, as much as I love and support Eren, I bet that if I was in AoT world and an eldian, I would've supported Zeke or even do the same thing Zeke is trying to do. Every time while watching episode I hope that Zeke's plan is a success and also be happy that Eren did what he did... It's impossible for me to pick sides!!

Eren was litreally live streaming his pov memories to grisha in real time... so whenever grisha is looking at eren he is seeing himself from eren's pov..he cant see eren but he could feel his presence by seeing himself. the reason why grisha was able to see zeke is eren was standing opposite to zeke.

I think The Attack Titan Created this loop by his own will...

*Just To clear confusion: grisha went to riess hideout before wall got attacked because eren send half of his memories that they are coming to destroy the walls but he didn't tell which day they coming and he did this to make sure his mom will die and story goes same as we know now!*

Grisha could see Zeke because eren was standing behind him and through future-memory-inheritance he saw what eren saw "a bearded man"... Similarly when eren tells him to kill them, grisha sees what eren was/is seeing. I know it sounds confusing and simple at the same time 😂 👍🏻

the time travel concept is really very complicated in attack on titan world but I will try to break down the concept. Eren on coming with contact of zeke is finally able to access the coordinate or path and when these two brothers are visiting their father memory, Eren is live streaming his present memories to Grisha. in Eren live recording Grisha can see where zeke is standing and how he looks like and what he thinks about his father and how his father mistreated him and then Eren was sending this to his father. the ability of attack Titian is more like Voldemort and Harry Potter connection where they both can look into each other memory but Voldemort memory is far more superior and overwhelming therefore harry is able to look into his memories more. like Voldemort Eren also used this concept of memory access and manipulation to his advantage and tried to manipulate everyone including his brother and father too
