Here is an interesting interpretation.. Attack Titan never obeyed the founder titan.. Attack Titan always embodied the Fight for Freedom of Ymir.. That's why he was always different from. rest of the 8 Titans. He was always fighting for freedom. Freedom from Slavery, then later freedom from Fritz's self righteous rules. Attack titan symbolizes the very little, but existential, hope for freedom and will to LIVE in Ymir... And finally that Attack Titan came to Eren..who throughout the series is shown to chase, fight for freedom.. When going through Grisha's memory, Eren puts into his own words that He is the kind of man who wants freedom more than anything, and if anyone tries to take his freedom he will without hesitation take theirs freedom.. . . The unite of Attack Titan with Eren was just the catalyst for their both (Eren and Ymir's) freedom.... . . The reason why Ymir just bursted with tears in eren's arms is because she has waited for that moment her whole life (and even after death).. The moment someone will tell her that she is really free.. free to chose.. free to let go... And this all came from the perfect personification of Freedom and Free Will in the show.. that is Eren Yeagar... . . For all the past years founding titan holder also had the royal blood, but this is the 1st time that founder doesn't have royal blood 3. (How did zeke manage to break the vow) The vow works on founding titan but zeke doesn't have founding titan so he is not affected by the vow, he is in the paths because he has the royal blood 4. (Why ymir follows what royal blood) Because she was a slave to the king But eren opened her eyes after telling her that she is a person and she has her own will and she has her choice

just wanna say this that there is a high chance of an anime original ending there have been countless evidences and also the sound director accidentally told a little about it i wish for an original ending but lets see

Those who still do not understand about how eren was able to manipulate his father, here is an explanation: zeke is a royal blood holder and he can control the powers of Ymir but before visiting to the path/coordinate eren can only see the memories but cannot influence anyone to do his bidding but he knew at some point that his brother is going to take him to his father's memories. Now when eren is in his father's memories he starts to influence and manipulate his father memory by showing him the future self where the walls are attacked by the titans as we saw in the first attack and he does not show him the full memory and as he is in his father's memory zeke and eren(mostly zeke) holds some power to change some of their memories and this way eren is influencing his father and shows him the memory where the titans attack inside the walls and to save them there is no other way but to kill the royal family living inside of the wall. And about the creature gave Ymir the power of founding titan, there is not much but there is some explanation given on the creature (may contain some spoilers). when eren has started rumbling his friends which include armin and Mikasa go after him to behead him as to put an end to the genocide, there while fighting the past titans armin finds himself in the path/coordinate and finds zeke sitting there. they both talk about the place and about the creature who lent Ymir this power, there zeke tells armin that many years ago before the actual civilisation there were many living forms which were born and died because they couldn't survive the harsh environment but there was one living form which adapted to the harsh state of that time and it was this creature which gave Ymir the power of the original founding titan.
