Yeah it was the weakest because episode 5 was so good the drop off here was noticeable episode 7 was insane. If I were to rank season 1's best episodes it's; Episode 7 Episode 5 Episode 8 Episode 1

She’s about 16ish at this point, aka highly emotional and irrational she did dumb things but so do every teen, not everyone sees a reason to hate her as much as everyone else

I really don't get all the Amber hate. She does one (1) unreasonable thing, and for that she gets crucified as a horrible, irredeemable monster? Grow the fuck up. People make mistakes; people do shitty things. That's part of being human. Mark is even worse this episode as his refusal to help William caused Rick to get completely and irreversibly mutilated. He messes up hard here, and it's completely inexcusable. Yet, he doesn't get lambasted the same way Amber does, and all she did was break up with him. I don't know what all y'all's reasoning is for that inconsistency, but from where I'm standing, it looks like sexist, incel bullshit. If someone has a better explanation, I've never heard it.

​@@noraa1991 amber is a total kunt. When Mark was late for the family dinner he said he had to help his dad with family stuff/responsibilities. Amber reacted by giving him an ultimatum: pick her or his family. That's a kunt move already. People don't start hating her until episode 7 when she says she always but still chose to be a kunt. All of this is happening in snior year of high school she's already 17/18. In season 2 its been a few weeks. Amber hasn't grown or matured. Amber was poorly written as an unlikable kunt and they're desperately trying to fix that. My guess is we are supposed to have an emotional moment with her dying but that's not possible if everyone watching hates her. They should have left her character like the comics. A generic gf that gets ghosted out of the story.

She's a complete and total kunt. Season2 is desperately trying to salvage the character. They should stick to the comics and just ghost her out of the story.
