If your Anker soundcore 1 won't turn on but the battery is charging fine and not dead pull it apart and look at the board and find the solder joints going to the power button. (Should be top left 3 little solder joints) See if they have any connecting solder or grime. Mine had a little solder or grit connection 2 of the 3 solder joints. I took my VERY tiny flat head bit and scratched between the connections breaking it so it's not connected. My soeaker WORKS AGAIN!!! It turns on now! I think the face plate is bent beyond repair after removing it but it's fir decoration anyway. It looks cooler without it in my option.

The Soundcore Pro has been discontinued as far as I know. The battery overheats and will actually burn the surface its sitting on! Also the when these speakers do work the bass overpowers the mids and makes for an odd listening experience. Anker can do better then this speaker. The Soundcore 2 and Boost are amazing products for the price. But the Boost was a big let down, especially since the Boost can play louder and provide better sounding bass and much clearer mids. I'm sure Anker has learned from their expensive mistake, so whatever they come up with to replace the Pro should be impressive (hopefully).

Hi, my friend, I had the same problem. In my case the problem started after a fall. Apparently this is caused by bad contact on the NFC board (at the top). I opened and moved the NFC card and its connections and the problem stopped happening. (Translator's english).

What's exactly shown here has happened to my Soundcore Pro, too, It's been like 3months, and it's still like this even after leaving it off w/o charge for a long time. I'd give it for replacement, but it's been refunded for another problem already. ...Welp, time to experiment/disassemble with it now.

Looks like battery is flat

load the SoundCore with 9V and not with 5V.
