Is there a possible solution if an ankle sprain happened long years ago? What if the ligaments are all damaged and not properly treated? I can't even lay down my legs in bed with the feeling of no support on my feet. Thank you for the answers.

I get surgery tomorrow on a 10 year old injury. We thought it was a sprain but it was an ocd break to my ankle. You may not have sprained it, you may have worse damage than you think

Looks painful tho...will it be normal again?? Can I walk or run or jump as before and the stitches won't open up(after 2 years or so) just because of the heavy movements I do. How much will it cost in USD(average price range)? Would appreciate it if you answer my question

I've been through peroneal tendon subluxation surgery and I will be having another peroneal tendon surgery soon honestly I'm not sure how much it cost total but I saw the average for the scoping of the ankle joint is around 4 to 5 thousand US dollars peroneal tendon surgery is painful I had to take 100 mg of tramadol to get rid of the pain in therapy don't let them twist your ankle my therapist hurt me that's why I'm going through my third surgery my dr told me it can take 6 to 12 months to fully heal from the operation depending on how u heal it's possible u may be able to run again I could jog walk the surgery was worth it I'm sorry I didn't see this sooner I would have answered you I hope this helps if u have any other questions please let me know I've had my ankle scoped to and lateral ankle reconstruction if u want info on that surgery let me know and definitely get a nerve block in your leg don't let them do any spinal block I also had them give me general anesthesia the first time I did twilight I woke up screaming in pain make sure u do nerve block in leg and general anesthesia

@@abi3937 I'm sorry you are going through all of that ankle / foot problems suck big time. So first I would like to tell u how I ended up having 3 ankle surgeries my first surgery was on my left ankle June 2018 I fell down the stairs after coming home from putting my dad in the ground it sucks losing a parent in only 27 but his heart valve gave up and he died in his sleep he looked very peaceful hopefully he didn't feel anything but when I fell I landed on my left ankle and heard a snap I went to the hospital they said it's only a sprained ankle I found out the snap was my ankle ligament stretching my Dr put a brace inside my ankle it fixed the problem but I had crps in my foot for 5 months then I shook it off but 4 weeks after that surgery I was had a cast on my left leg there was water on the bathroom floor I didn't see my crutches slipped out from under me and I landed on my right ankle and heard a snap but now the crutches were useless what happened was my personal tendons came out of the groove in my ankle bone Dr had to create a new groove in the bone then he put a anchor in my ankle I was doing great no crps Dr was going to send me back to work last summer then I got a bad physical therapist I told her I can't move my ankle any further to the right she said yes u can she yanked it I could barely walk for 3 days she caused scar tissue to form on my personal tendons Feb 2020 he had to scrape my tendons then he scopes the front of my ankle he did on the 1st surgery to 2nd surgery was In feb 2019 when the crps came back even a small bump would make me scream like I was being stabbed to death so my pain management Dr just upped my gabapetin to 600 mg. 3 times a day and I'm taking 2 norko 3 times a day as well the crps is getting better but my foot gets really hot I have an ice pack tied to my ankle now does your foot get really hot to I can't walk very much I would say maybe a block and I need to sit I got off my crutches I'm using a cane I'm in bed most of the day resting from the pain but slowly it is starting to get better but I would really like to be normal by next spring or beginning of summer I couldn't do anything this summer from the pain I hate taking all those pills but the last surgery helped now I have a bone sticking out now on my pinky toe I think it's a bunion it's so painful when driving but my Dr doesn't want to do any more surgery Monday I'm going for an xray for that toe I can't deal with it anymore I just want to go back to work

@@msfox103able hi i feel sorry for your painful treatments and stress, I am suffering from similar things ,not able to walk properly since 2 years and i am just 23 , a teacher by profession , i wanted to study more but because of this continuous pain and sedative medications of nerve pain i can't concentrate . I have continuous pain in both ankles due to ligaments sensitivity I had gone through physio, rehabilitation etc. But to no result, they are just making money out of me and dr. Said I don't need surgery ,but i want your opinion or suggestions.....kindly help.

@@JANVI_743 I will gladly answer any questions. I got crps after the third surgery its a malfunction of your central nervous system. Im on 10mg oxycodone 900mg gabapentin 4 times a day an anti depressant i had 2 spine surgeries last year i had a spinal implant done that surgery was way more painful than any ankle surgery I had i could hardly move for 4 days the spinal implant definitely helps the spasms i have in my legs. I do have muscle spasms in my back very painful. I will be asking the dr for muscle relaxer to try to ease the spasms. Im only 29 I am trying to get disability im in rough shape my lawyer said I will get it he wouldn't have taken my case if he didn't think I would win. I got my criminal justice degree I was planning on being a k-9 officer dr said im in no condition to work. We are to young to have these issues.
