Follow our quick and simple video guide on the use of Meglio Resistance Bands.
This video shows you how to use a Meglio Resistance Band to strengthen stability within your ankle. We'll show you how to exercise using 3 different techniques, Eversion, Inversion and Plantarflexion to build up strength and stability. We suggest completing 10-12 reps for each exercise. Once pain free you can begin natural rotation of your foot to accompany the other exercises. Ankle strength is one of the best ways get stability back following an injury, such as a sprain whilst running

Great content. Have ankles that have bothered me since highschool sports injuries. And these movements are helping a ton to rehab them!

Great ! Could you kindly tell which level band to use ? (light, medium, or hard)

From the looks of it, he's using a lighter one. My heavier bands are still thicker when stretched flat. It seems reasonable which one to use really comes down to a number of factors you and your doctor, or your PT, will work out together. Hope that was helpful.

how many sets of 10-12 repetitions for each exercise? I'm assuming it's one set for each exercise (eversion, inversion, and plantar flexion). I also want to know how long we do these exercises. I don't want to under exercise, but I also don't want to over-do it either.

I was told in the past by a PT to do 3 sets of 12 for basically everything

Do these apply to CRPS? It's a long story but I'm having to do all my own PT, without an actual advisor. Just throwing out questions to people who may know.

Hi Jennifer. Where are you based? It might be worth discussing this with physiotherapy or suitable fitness professional with the skills to help you find a solution.

Hey, there Im currently recovering from a ankle injury & when i do the 1st exercise the ankle eversion with the band my ankle starts shaking its actually abit painfull any advise on how i can get around this or Is the pain normal?

Hi Thank you for your comment. It depends on what you are trying to achieve and your fitness level, we would advice you to speak with a professional physiotherapist or a fitness trainer who can give you a tailored exercises for you . A general advice will be to repeat the exercise slowly, stretch as far as you can and make sure you are comfortable and not experience any pain.
